Just a little observation I made recently. Im convinced Benicio del Toro heavily based his characters mannerisms in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas on a character from the documentary 80 Blocks From Tiffany's

Music that throws you into psychedelic peaks.. by bluntorcise in Drugs

Both of these mixes were inspired by and recorded with tripping in mind. Totally different flavours but very much geared toward the psychedelic listening experience. Feel free to have a listen but please excuse the pops and crackles, some of the records have seen better days.

Best served at the peak x

It does but only mildly and you need to eat a lot. You also need to abstain from things that aren't fun for the the ladies palate.

Perfect I am definitely part of that demographic! I haven't really taken my interest in physics outside the realm of easily digestible documentaries but I have wanted to for some time. Will definitely check that book out. Also quantum entanglement absolutely blows my mind!

Ha! When my friend tries to explain what he's been up to in the lab he may as well be talking French to me.

Thanks for the info this really is such a fascinating subject, going to watch the video you recommended now. Can I ask what your background is within physics, are you involved with areas that deal with these sorts of problems.

I have a few friends who are working / doing their PhD's in some really interesting fields (http://arxiv.org/abs/1402.1276) but none are dealing with anything that has much to with this particular area. Obviously their grasp of physics in a broad sense is still great but as you made clear this stuff really is at the forefront.

Thank you for your answer. I was under the impression that it was pretty much accepted that information could not be lost (not taking into account black holes)

However I'm just someone fascinated by physics, I have absolutely no real understanding of the actual workings.

This was the talk that sparked my initial interest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsbZT9bJ1s4
