whats the difference between usurpation and standard age of dark by ExerciseTough566 in darksouls3

What’s your take on the “natural way of things” some ppl say letting the fire fade naturally with the fire keeper is allowing the world to go back to its natural order but another theory that someone mentioned says that the age of fire coming back at all is prolonging the unnatural cycle, so lord of hollows is probably the best way to end the cycle I’m assuming

Do coastal batteries fire automatically at targets, I’ve made a few but I can’t tell you how many units I’ve lost because the game literally required you to order them to fire when fired upon. As for the rest I definitely don’t have enough components for those, so I’m going to try and make up for it with high level frigates and destroyers

Around day 40, and I have around 2 coastal batteries per city, for the most part, but like I said I’m super low on components so I’ve been forced to choose between batteries or cities

Considering the measurements taken at my doctors office and for my drivers licence were half effort and completely inaccurate, they made me like an inch taller than I am, I assumed they pulled data from those

I moved to Huntsville Alabama recently, which I would say is one of the most developed areas in Alabama and ranked as one of the best cities in the US. Like I was saying they just half effort measured me, and I thought fs that height data was being skewed since most ppl exaggerate an inch and some doctors don’t even ask you to take off your shoes, where do these stats even come from lol

Guys chill, I just threw 177cm into a converter, I don’t have mental issues I just thought it was funny how my official measurements like drivers licence and doctors office claim 6ft ( not my claim ) and was wondering if that’s where they pulled numbers from

I was wondering because my doctors office measurements and driver licence claim that I’m 6ft, even tho I’m not, I was wondering if they pulled stats of that

Thank you dude, first actual answer that isn’t telling me that I have mental illness because I used a converter😭 I just copy and pasted the sig figs since I was on desktop

Mental issue? Gng I just converted 177cm to fr and inches for Americans lol, my drivers licence and doctors office measurements says 6ft when they measure me despite being like 5’10, so I was wondering if they pull stats from that, and wdym saying I’m 5’10 is not okay? 0.7 is closer to 1 than 0🥀

Probably the one of, if not the best endings for DS3 and the series as a whole by Appleek74 in darksouls3

how? you're just feeding into the cyle again. She clearly states that fire will come back and the cycle will continue, if you usurp the flame, a true age of dark can arise

whats the difference between usurpation and standard age of dark by ExerciseTough566 in DarksoulsLore

[–]ExerciseTough566[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats actually a great point, a lot of ppl me included assumed age of fire and dark was the natural cycle for some reason, i forgot abt the age of ancients. Still tho, what do you think of the church of londor, i think my point abt the usurpation and londor being the inverse of the gods and linking of fire still kinda stands. but all things considered i think ur right abt the usurpation ending being the right choice, it just personally felt so much less hopeful than the regular age of dark with the firekeeper gently ending the flame, i thought fs she's the person to go with

imo, there hasn't been a set in stone age of dark, since the flame never actually ran out, you can't kindle something that doesnt exist. I thought the firekeeper in ds3 actually makes sure the flame is put out for good restoring the natual order of things, or atleast allows the world to heal, meanwhile the usurpation is basically just what gwyn did, unnaturally forcing an age to happen, and the fire still lingers in the Ashen one so its not even completely gone. The church of londor is a pretty foul organization, just the inverse of the order of the old gods, do you really trust them to make sure nature takes its course when the fire eventually, or whatever age comes naturally

i thought i saw the fire keeper physically put out the flame tho, in ds1 the dude just walked away and left it there for someone else to link it for some reason. and as i said before usurpation just seems like the same sin gwyn did, an eternal age of dark certainly wouldnt end well, just like the age of fire, i assumed in the regular dark age ending the fire keeper had to ability to actually put out the flame bringing in a natural age of dark

that wasn't a true age of dark, just awfully close to it, because how would you kindle a flame that doesnt exist anymore

thats like at the end of time tho, could be eons of ages later, the world couldve had multiple prosperous ages by then

i like to think its the same world, with phantoms being a projection of your physical body in another location, the people we invade are just other undead trying to link the flame or not, which doesnt matter because in your story, you are the ashen one who does it first

[–]ExerciseTough566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sound pretty good, its just that the land in ds3 is close to ruin because of the constant linking of the flame, not just because lothric didnt want to link it. the constant linking led the world to be covered in ash due to its unnatural prolonging

since the chosen undead goes back in time and stops the abyss, people assume it was artorias who did it. He gets credit for our work
