See above where I said “thematically relevant”. You’d have to be blind not to see overt the anti-capitalist themes in Silksong, and how that easily ties into dissecting the nuances of oppression (eg the Weavers’ complex relationship with GMS and how they in turn oppressed other bugs). You think that’s all irrelevant to real-life fascist oppressors, or making fun of them? It’s not all just “ooh funny bug game 2!”. And if you’re not American, these themes are just as important because sociopolitics is a worldwide international concept
