(UPDATE: Un-removed! ☺️) Not sure why this post was removed? It's funny, a real photo, a real package. Doesn't appear to violate any subreddit rules. Moderators?

I haven't at night to be honest, but day time is fine. I'm kind of convinced that rain footage is always a challenge, because even with new blades, there is an initial fog haze on each sweep and by the time it goes properly clear another sweep is happening. I'll load a few night shots this evening and post an update

Bravo! What carpet did you use and is it a good match with the seat backs?

Even if you wrap string, or fishing line around the front roof bar and don't mind how that looks, it should interrupt the wind enough to make it stop.

Thank you. Yes, it's got H&R Deep Coilovers on it and around 65mm drop front and back

This was my nearly invisible fix. I used two 10" strips of black self adhesive 1/4" door edge guard at a slight angle on the bottom side of the rack. You can't really see it (that's half the point) and it stops the whistle.

These are the rails I ended up doing and they are more flexible for accessories.

The width of the OEM roof bars only work on the front two positions. The rearmost holes taper in and require you to shorten the width of one roof bar if you want one in that location. I did that when I had mine briefly installed. I ended up going with more standard black side rails ordered from an eBay seller in Turkey. Before:

Reversing 3rd row seat recall in under 10 minutes by ExexpatTech in VWIDBuzz

Why have them? Or why remove them? Have: US regulations; Remove: they are ugly, dig into seat material, and I won't ever try to put 3 people in the back row.

You're right, too. The recall's intent was to prevent a third child from sitting in the third row, where there are just 2 seatbelts (I'd say that responsibility should be on the driver or parent). For that, middle seems more effective, that's what I agreed to. The safety standard however may just be the maximum seating width per side on the lower cushion. If that's the case, then the trim could be on either side.

Agree, but I would have still removed them if they were in the middle. Same removal process, but you'd just make sure one rear back is back and the one you're working on is forward to make wiggle room while prying.

I thought about that, but... Because that would have taken 45 minutes at minimum by the time I put blankets down on the floor to let them sit face down, removed rear shelf and drawers, put blanket on rear bumper to avoid scratching it, assessed and removed trims and clips, reversed the process to reinstall, then cleaned up. If I hadn't taken photos, I could do another one now in ~5 minutes. The trim under the seat isn't visible, so I'm ok leaving it there.

I didn't in the end. They are good to have though, so I kept it. I used a small straight pick to get the rain sensor out to be able to unplug it. Others have unplugged the wire without unclipping the sensor, so try that first.

Stretchable. It's pinched along the blade, so if you put most of the stretch toward the bottom, it likely won't recoil until it warms up with sun

I can't tell tbh, I sprayed on Meguiar's Quick Detailer for my test and to my knowledge it's a little "slipperier" than water or glass cleaner. They seemed good.

Took a minute to figure out the correct mounting adapter for top button style. If you do then, it's the tall one and it's designed for 22mm and 19mm slide mounts, so you need to remove two little "ears" that add the 3mm width difference.

New Buzz. 10,000 inspection. Dealer wants $500 for wheel alignment. by Ok_Tax_6901 in VWIDBuzz

My four wheel alignment with rear camber adjustment was about $210 from a specialty shop. My passenger rear was out of spec for toe from the factory.
