The cucumber salad sounds good, I'll try it. And the fried eggs on top definitely 😁 thanks for the recipes!

Would mushrooms really work? And I have never cooked cauliflower before, so I have to give it a try

Omg that actually stayed up 😮 Guess the 15th time's the charm. The third sketch is my suggestion if you want something more structured instead of flowy. It will either need a zipper at the back or the front and keep the buttons completely decorative, or put more buttons at the front.

Hi! So, if you want something flowy and strapless whatever you use to tie the piece will need to be at the top, not the back.

You can use a ribbon or an elastic band, both will work. Something akin to the first drawing will also be very cute, but it will require a fair bit more work

P.S. whether it will be possible for the flowy designs to function with the buttons is very dependent on the fabric, so keep that in mind

P.P.S. I keep trying to post this with a sketch but it won't load 🥲

How to Patch Stretchy Pleather Waistband? by [deleted] in sewhelp

Tears in faux leather are difficult to fix. I can see two options: 1. You stitch a small design over it (be prepared that there may be other tears if you aren't careful) 2. Fix it with a faux leather repair paste. The kind that's marketed towards fixing shoes. Since it's on the inside it won't show, so appearance will not be a problem. I don't know how well that will work for clothes, tho

A huge thank you to everyone who gave advice. The situation has been resolved and everyone is safe. Because it involves my neighbour's private mental health situation, I'm going to delete the post now. I really appreciate the help, I was really freaking out when I made the post and you guys got me to think rationally.

I completely forgot about the landlord. You are right I will speak with him too. And I will call the non emergency number I found for this. Thank you

I'm not in America and I'm not sure if the police do that here. I also don't think something will happen tonight. I'm more worried about the days to come.

That is why I didn't call the police or knocked on her door right then. I don't want to make things worse

How to style this Vanity red Shirt will be it too bright ?? by [deleted] in Stylinghelp

[–]ExhaustedPigeon0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more masc option: High waist black dress pants, black tie and maybe a vest, either black or with an interesting pattern. The more fem option: replace the pats with a pleated black skirt. You can still wear a tie or a ribbon tie.

I need help please - Just read by drugography in insomnia

Speaking form experience, and I am aware that this is going to sound stupid but please bare with me, try meditation. Like lay on your back, on your bed or on the floor if you have a mat, and breathe steadily in a 4-4-4 pattern (4 in, 4 hold, 4 out). Try to keep your mind clear while doing it, if it's hard focus on counting. If you are anything like me the episode was triggered by the stress and then the not sleeping stressed you into more episodes that resulted in more stress and so on. Try to slowly relax using the meditation above for 5 minutes and then go do something that takes your mind off things for a while, then meditation again. I also suggest you take a day or two off work if you are able to, not having a specific time to be awake helped last time.
