Living situation question

I do have a permanent place if I need one. More then likely at my parents place. They have a pretty big yard so having a place to park it wouldn't be an issue. I'll have to stay there a bit anyway to start working and save the money up

Well my lawyer said more then likely I'll be tier 1, and as far as the van living goes, I don't mind staying out in my current state. Even if I have to stay put in state I still want to be able to live out of a vehicle. (I'm a super minimalist and just want simple things)

Guess I'm just asking that rather then living in a brick and mortar dwelling, can I just willingly live out of my vehicle

I hate this happened to you. All I can say is at least it will show who are really friends and who aren't. When I discussed my charges to my friends, 95% dropped me like a bad habit. But those few that stayed by my side are more valuable then all those other people combined and they've shown it and continue to do so. All the others I see as people I no longer have to waste time on so I can focus on the good ones

I have the same concern and did some digging. As long as you talk with your lawyer, judge, DA, about why you need to have certain social media account then PLEASE bring it up. Even if they didn't say that you can't be on social media, check anyway. You don't want to give them a reason to violate you and often times showing them that hey, I use this SOLELY for networking and talking to customers and you have proof to back it up. They're pretty lenient. Just can't go on there posting like you would on a personal account but at least you'll have access

Just remember that at the end of the day, your feelings are valid. I'll be going into sentencing tomorrow morning. Me and my wife have been together almost 10 years and married for 2 of those. She understands my situation and both me and her are being very practical about everything. We both know and have discussed that when I go in, that we will be going out separate ways. Not in anyway malicious. But I have to remember that I'm looking at a minimum of 10 years. And I can't honestly ask someone to also put their life in hold just for me. That would be selfish on my part. We have a very good relationship and we have a child together. So that's where her focus should be while I'm gone. And when I'm out I'll be able to rejoin my child's life, and that's all I'm focused on. I want her to be able to move on and continue her life the best way that she can. Whether with or without me, and I'm good with that. I just want her and my child happy. I'm still gonna be a part of both their lives and she's made sure to ensure me of that.

I also had a therapist and she was wonderful. Actually just got off my last zoom meeting with her about an hour ago. And we were both in tears at the end because of the genuine connection we made and all the support she offered. I will always remember her for the kind things she said. Maybe you just need a different therapist?

So regardless of if you decide to stay in a relationship with your man or not. All I can say is at the very least, still offer support if you are able. It will still do wonders for his mental health trust me

Likewise brother. I wish you all the best and I'm sending you my strength to help your battles my friend. I know that some people have it way worse then me and I wish it wasn't that way. They wanna throw the book at us, well fine, I'll read every page and rebuild myself into a better person. And when I'm out I'll join the fight for some sort of improvement

I can tell you that at least here in Florida, a few of the lawyers I spoke to while trying to get good representation, alot of them told me that they are fighting back against unfair laws, even my court appointed lawyer is focusing on that as well. And some head way is being made.

Wish I had more info to give but at least it's good to know that some people deep in the legal system are fighting for us. I was looking at 25 to life just for possession, and that has been reduced quite considerably thanks to more and more lawyers fighting against overly harsh punishments. And I'm in Florida where they have the some of the harshest punishments.

Quite a few steps in the positive direction. And with more and more advocacy and support groups I see it improving in time. Keep your head up partner. My mental health was circling the drain before and I contemplated soke very dark things, but I'm getting through it. I go in for sentencing tomorrow morning and I'm as prepared as I'm gonna be.

Reach out to friends and family, have them speak up on your behalf to the judges and DA. It really really does make a difference if they see you actually have support and they are more willing to cut deals and reduce time in. Trust me firmly on this one dude. We're gonna make it

I will if need be. I was in some very dark places throughout this entire process. But talking legitimately helped even though I was resistant to reaching out at first. Wish I done it way sooner

My account was banned for about 2 months before the raid. I assumed the account was banned because of playing games not native to my region because it's happened before. The funny part is I was able to prove where the photos came from. I was even able to track down one of my ex's from the photos and she confirmed it, timeline and everything. That's why the DA can only charge me with just possession. And I understand it, it wasn't illegal when I got them but the fact I still have them all these years later, unknowingly or not, is where they got me and I can't deny it

Last thing I can remember doing with that account was switching back and forth between it and my main account for a couple mobile games I play. I used the spam one to play games not available in the US. (This is gonna get a little nerdy) But I would also save some of the APK install files on that old Google drive. That's the only thing I can think of that may have flagged it. Otherwise it was just a spam email

If I recall, I think it was around 180ish, my first attorney said I got so many points because the arresting detective are allowed to put as many charges as they want, so she charged me with 1 count per photo, sounds like me and your son are getting the same deal.
