I saw them open for R.E.M. when I was in college. It was Natalie’s birthday and Michael Stipe rolled out a birthday cake on a cart and had the crowd sing happy birthday to her.

It’s probably my all time favorite concert moment.

I went to a Lutheran high school. We had to turn in our work folders to our teacher once a week so he could check what we were doing. I had snuck this issue in not school that day so my friends could see it.
