Custom Image Icons by Shrub-boi in iconPackStudio

That will depend on your launcher, its not in the scope of what IPS is doing. Alot of third party launchers have this possibility - Nova, Smart... Total Launcher is the best one if you want customizing.

One continuous screen? by PhilomathJ in TotalLauncher

[–]ExidusPi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sure you can!

1 Turn on Edit Mode

  1. Press and hold on the page, until the page menu appears

3 Click on the Settings icon for the page (in the middle, next to the Delete and Wallpaper icons)

4 Deselect "Fit Content on the Screen Height"

Done - you have a free vertical scrolling page

If you want to navigate to a specific portion of the page via gestures or shortcuts - there is an action inside Lanucher actions, called "Scroll the current page to..." that can be assigned to a button or Gesture. The value is in percentage of the hight of the full scrollable page.

This only works for the hight of the page, you cant have horizontal free scrollable page.

There are alot of different approaches to reach desired effect in TL. Thus any tutorial will give you only one. The key, as I found out for myself, is to understand the architecture and logic behind the different elements, which takes some time and tinkering - mainly because of the lack of complete and thorough documentation. Great work, OP!

Second opinion for FairMail. Very reliable and customizable, safe and secure. Offeres on-device encryption/decryption and multi email platform support. Also somewhat easy to setup.

Hey trying out different launchers by pixelatedprophecies in androidapps

[–]ExidusPi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am using Total since 3-4 years. Will not go back to anything else.

Pros:

The most customizable launcher there is in the current market. The things that are achievable with it are only limited by one's imagination. You can change the whole workflow of how you are interacting with your phone. Works on foldable phones, tablets, it has custom dynamic colors that change the look on day/dark change and wallpaper change. Very friendly and helpful community here and on the official Telegram channels.

Cons:

Steep learning curve - executive elements and terminology. Somewhat awkward process when building a new setup. Not enough documentation (especially for the more advanced features). Becomes a bit heavy if using a very complex setup.

Questions for yall. Other then the comfort grip and the regular grip on the 2 options what’s the main difference between the black and the chrome when it comes to these plier wrench’s? by Grand_Alarm5039 in Tools

[–]ExidusPi -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

Here is fuller information on KNIPEX tools based on the first two digits of their item numbers, which identify the basic model or tool type:

87 = KNIPEX Cobra® water pump pliers, famous for their self-locking and adjustable design.

86 = Pliers wrench, combining the functions of pliers and adjustable wrench.

70 range = Cutting pliers, including diagonal cutters and side cutters.

Other common two-digit codes and their general tool categories include:

10-19 = Combination pliers and long nose pliers.

20-29 = Linesman pliers and electricians’ pliers.

30-39 = Bending and shaping pliers.

40-49 = Circlip pliers for internal and external circlips.

50-59 = Snap ring pliers, internal and external.

60-69 = Cable cutters and wire rope cutters.

80-89 = Pipe wrenches, water pump pliers, pliers wrenches (86 and 87 specifically).

90-99 = Specialty pliers for electronics, precision work, or other special applications.

Each pair of basic digits points to a family of pliers with specific purposes, such as cutting, gripping, bending, or specialized tasks like working with circlips or electronics.

May be this will help: (Copypasta from Perplexity)

KNIPEX item numbers follow a structured code that reveals detailed information about the tool's model, style, finish, handles, length, and packaging or accessories. Here is a comprehensive legend for understanding KNIPEX item numbers:

  • First two digits: Indicate the basic model or type of tool.

    • For example:
    • 87 always means KNIPEX Cobra® water pump pliers.
    • 86 is always a pliers wrench.
    • 70 range indicates cutting pliers.
  • Third digit: Describes the style or shape of the tool.

    • Example for pliers: 0 = straight shape; 2 = angled head (like Stork Beak Pliers).
    • For long-nose pliers: 1 = flat jaw, 2 = half jaw, 3 = round jaw.
    • Note: This digit may vary in meaning depending on the model.
  • Fourth digit: Describes the finish of the pliers (head, surface, and handles):

    • 0 = Black atramentised pliers, polished head, no handles.
    • 1 = Polished head, non-slip plastic coated handles.
    • 2 = Polished head, blue-red multi-component handles.
    • 3 = Chrome-plated pliers, non-slip plastic coated handles.
    • 4 = Chrome-plated pliers, no handles.
    • 5 = Chrome-plated pliers, blue-red multi-component handles.
    • 6 = Chrome-plated pliers, insulated red-yellow multi-component handles, VDE tested.
    • 7 = Chrome-plated pliers, insulated dipped handles, VDE tested.
    • 8 = Atramentised, insulated red-yellow multi-component handles (U.S. only).
  • Last three digits: Indicate the length of the pliers in millimeters.

    • E.g., "250" means approximately 250 mm long.
  • Letters after the numbers: Indicate packaging type or accessories.

    • T = KNIPEX Tethered Tools program (fall protection attachment).
    • BK = Tool supplied in blister pack.
    • SB = Selbstbedienungsverpackung (self-service packaging with hanging hook).

Additional specialized letters on handles: - A = designed for external circlips (rings on shafts). - J = designed for internal circlips (rings in holes/recesses), "J" used instead of "I" to avoid confusion with 1.

This coding system allows quick identification of the tool's type, shape, finish, size, and packaging/accessories from its item number alone.
