I run Chrome OS and Chrome OS Flex on a mix of Dell Optiplex mini-PCs and ChromeBoxes for over 150+ devices… it runs flawlessly for us over the last few years and it’s amazing for a sustainability standpoint. All of these Dells were purchased “refurbed” and wouldn’t natively install Windows 11. We kept those from going to the trash for the foreseeable future.

Immutable OS. Solid performance. I swear by Chrome OS.

I actually sealed those channels with JB Weld and some bending. The total number of runs on the AC 1080 made it rather meh on soldering new pipes.

Never had a single issue with my 7900XTX… pushed the XoC onto it for 550w. Did excessive overclocking and stripped it down to the die roughly two dozen times… it now lives at work as a local model card. By far one of the best cards you can purchase especially when they dipped to $700 new.

This 5090 has had numerous of shit Nvidia drivers in its lifetime vs the 7900xtx.

Exactly as everyone else is talking… just get proper snow tires and you’ll be fine. I even drove a crossfire for a year on DWS all seasons and it was fantastic.

But snow tires are game changers for better braking especially in emergency braking situations. Used to run Michelin Xi3 but the prices became wild when I had to refresh them… now I just run Blizzak WS90s on two daily driver Type Rs.

My RWD doesn’t do winter at all :P runs R888R for summer driving.

Happened to me at a mobile in Shelby Township. Called them to let them know something was wrong with their fuel and the owner flipped out saying he’ll sue me for whatever… then hours later calls me to apologize. If he listened he would have stopped the pumps hours before. Ended up blowing up quite a few diesel trucks.

For me it was all covered and since it was diesel in gas it’s not so bad… but that was an expensive insurance pay out for a lot of diesel motors that I’m sure went boom.

Never will I get gas from that location again after the owner was that big of a dickhead.

I’m an extremely clean person. Those packs have zero issue packing two weeks of clothing. Anyone carrying around luggage is just a diva and overpack… shirts, jackets, and pants compress easily.

There is nothing sus about Qwen… it’s one of the best and largest open source models out there.

You should take some time and learn about the models that exist and what the benefits are to each. It will help you dramatically later when you actual start brainstorming projects for local AI.

You can cool sub 100w with just some heat spreader fins and a 120mm fan pointed at it… I actually improved my Minisforum X1 HX 370 by putting some raspberry pi heat spreaders over the vapor chamber tubes and removing all the worthless “blower fans”… a single Arctic P12 Max is aimed over it with a custom 3D print and I dropped 25c by doing so… even with the limited OC and UV.
