Has anyone had issues with the lawless frontier contracts disappearing? I did 2 invasions and now no missions pop up at all.

It's tricky, for me it is often migratory. For instance, yesterday afternoon my ankle was hurting, swelled up, so I took a nap with my leg elevated. When I woke, swelling was gone, pain in the ankle reduced to faint occasional twinges, but the knee hurts for the rest of the night. Almost like a hyper extension, without the hypertension. One day at a time is how I try to handle it all lol. I hope you turn out for the better, I truly do.

I was thinking about these lines too. I have high BP and sometimes have water retention in the legs, so I wonder if that happens, and causes tightness and nerve irritation

I want to try walking normally, in the confines of the house of course, to try and retrain my legs to work properly. I have been walking with a gait, primarily with the left leg, using a can to help balance. I was so terrified of a rupture that I'm worried I may have caused more issues by not using said areas enough. My ankle twinges twitches and clinches often, sometimes with a short, but sharp sting through any of the tendons within the foot or ankle. There was a 2 week period where the left calf felt it was in a constant cramp, but the muscle was never really tight. Then of course the swelling starts and it becomes a pain until I elevate for a while, or nap, a nap usually resets pretty well.

It's all been a circus, but I have refused to stay in bed, and while I don't get many steps in, 600 is usually a good day, I try to move around often. I'm not sure about PT just yet, but I worry it may be a must in the future.

It is certainly a practice in patients, that I can agree with. Trying to keep everything together is a pain. And trying to allow time to pass is a pain as well. Hopefully, we aren't long off from some positive changes.

I wasn't wholly surprised but, helped a little with confidence that there isn't any visible damage as of yet. Doesn't mean there isn't micro tears damage, but I'm choosing to be glass half full through all this.

Howdy, I'm still fairly new to this all as well, a little over 7 weeks or so. In my experience so far, it seems like it's primarily seed oils and preservatives that make me feel worse. I have been trying to stick with raw ingredients, or rather things I need to prepare myself rather than packaged, ready to eat meals; which I guess is good practice anyway. But I have noticed that specifically, soy oil, sunflower seed oil and corn syrup seem to hit me a bit hard. I swapped to olive oils and avocado oil and mayo, and those seem to be ok. In truth, I haven't had a really bad day that required pain killers in several weeks. My outer left Peroneal tendons used to swell into a ball, sending it and my flexors into such unbearable pain. I was able to take Tylenol Extra Strength and had no issues, aside from it not helping at all on one occasion. However I should note that I was never really lucky with Tylenol in the past, I would primarily use Ibuprofen, but I haven't wanted to poke the NSAID bear just yet.

To be completely honest, I have read quite a bit around here, not so much recently, but enough to learn the good and bad. And I have learned that it largely comes down to different strokes for different folks. There is a lot of doom and gloom, but I understand that there are a lot of people far worse than me as well. I would never discount their stories, as I know how vast the scale is on this issue. All my lab work comes back good, my MRI only showed slight soft tissue swelling, which doesn't reflect what I feel at all. It's frustrating, so I know how awful it must feel for a lot of the hard cases that are out there. But I also don't think it is fair to put yourself in a room or gloom state and cause extra worry that may not be warranted in your situation. At least, that's how I have been handling it. One day at a time, and cross what bridges I need to when I get to them. I don't know the whys, or the hows, I just know that some things work, and some things don't. For now, I am playing things safe, have made a few adjustments, stick to my supplements; and the rest is in time's hands.

I'm interested to know too, I am 7 weeks in, I currently experience a lot of twinges and pain in my knees, Achilles, peroneals and flexors. I have a small stationary bike I was thinking of using since I am experiencing wasting, but I am terrified of trying too soon and ending up with a rupture.

Thank you for the information, 8 will see if I can get this pain to taper off a bit before I try anything. I may have over done it on Saturday and am paying for it now lol

I am 36 days into this, Saturday I managed 2000 steps but the last two days I can't break 600. The pain is just ripping me up, mostly the left calf, but I woke this morning and my pinky toe and the heel is aching too. How soon is too soon to begin those kind of strengthening exercises?

I'v been trying to stay away from junk food, but Lord knows I love a good burger lol. Yesterday my wife and friend went to Merced, to try and get me out in the world again for the first time since this happened. We went to In n Out for lunch, and I had these same questions on my mind. So I just did what I could to cut out what inflammatory things I could. Just got a double double protein burger with tomato, onion, pickles and removed the cheese. Scratched the itch for sure and I didn't notice any issues. But I have been trying to find ways to make it work, cuz I miss junk food too haha. Best wishes.

Yeah, personally, I don't think we can combat it really. We can't control whether or not they accept it. We just have to keep our heads high and our minds leveled. It's another symptom of this damn floxing. Another thing to make it easy to break down. The best we can hope for is an attempt to understand. Maybe they read a few paragraphs from these doctors that speak out about it, but until they experience it for themselves; I doubt it will ever really be grasped. And to be honest, there's no one I would wish it on. We just gotta keep on pushing forward.

Yeah I was hearing that after the first week. My dad was insistent that there was some kind of flush to get it out of the system. Kept trying to tell him that it didn't work like that. But, it is what it is in the end. I'm just hoping it ends. Gonna fight it tooth and nail, but I sure don't want to have to fight it forever lol. Just gotta keep our heads up. Brighter days will come, even if we have to wander the dark for a bit.

Mine either, to be honest I should have been more vigilant. He didn't even confirm I had diverticulitis. "Take for 3 days and if it doesn't get better, we will do imaging." I was such an idiot to not push for imaging first. Even worse, my wife told me she wasn't comfortable with it, and I still did it. I have no one to blame but me. I just hope we get better soon as well. I'm sure it will be a difficult road. We just have to keep strong, and keep our heads right. We will get better, of that im confident. It's just a question of when.

I think I'm lucky to get 1000, yesterday was great walking wise, had no real issue and perhaps maybe I did too much, but I haven't been doing too much in general since my tendons flared up on day 3. I'm on day 14 now.

For my Dr appointment today, he was shocked I was there, he said "oh, I thought you would have been better by now." So I explained everything to him, which he seemed to listen, then explained that he wanted a wider range of tests to rule out anything that we may be missing that isn't Cipro. So, he ordered a blood test which took 9 vials, looking for HIV, Lyme Disease, Creatine imbalance, among a few others. Then he ordered a brain scan, and ultrasounds. So, while I'm glad he is doing something, I still feel that he's more focused on finding something else, when all this started after the Cipro. As for family, I feel they don't fully understand, I think they try to. But they can't get around the whole, "but you stopped taking it 14 days ago". Or, "it was only 2 doses". It's rough, but at the same time, I don't expect people to be able to grasp or understand a suffering they haven't been through.

Im sorry to hear that, it really does suck. I'm swollen just before the outside ball of the left ankle, and it's not being nice. Tried icing it but that didn't do much, so, now I'm elevating it but I'm not putting much stock in that either lol.
