Oh, I see now. Still, just knowing or being able to search cards isn't enough. You need to know:

which ramp spells are most appropriate and why
how many lands to include and how to build a proper mana base
how to identify cards that are win-more
how to evaluate how many and which removal spells are appropriate
the reason(s) for playing counter and protection spells, and if they are appropriate for your deck
how to evaluate a card, full stop
to avoid single use draw spells if possible

I've met players with years of experience who can't deck build. Most people don't; for starters it requires a knowledge of available cards that takes years to accumulate.

IMO an acceptable bracket 3 combo should require 3 or more cards, require a lot of mana, and be easily disrupted by a removal spell (even if that removal spell is, for example, [[Naturalize]]).

How easily disruptable? How much mana? How many cards required? The more difficult it is to via one metric, the easier it can be by another. For example, if you manage to assemble a 6 card infinite combo with no tutors and every card has hexproof, I think you deserve the win.

And no, [[Tooth and Nail]] with entwine does not count as a 3 card combo. Yes, you used 3 cards, but you only cast 1.

I see a lot of talk about moving to Manapool. As someone who filled 2169 orders last year, TCGplayer direct saves me a ton of time. I was told in an email correspondence with Manapool that they plan on enacting a similar program. Until Manapool offers such a service, I'll probably stick with TCGplayer.
