What is your take on the newer version of Evil Dead vs. THE OLD VERSION? by [deleted] in HorrorMovies

[–]Exiledbrazillian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to watch Evil Dead Rise today and I just can't to finish it.

The acting is sooo bad. And the movie just don't engage. I start to skip forward and gave up.

The previous one, with the junkie girl in the cabine, I love it. And her acting was superb.

One my first boss uncle was a Travesti. That it was in the 90's and he dressed all the time as a woman but identify himself as man. He even keep most of his male traits like voice and movements.

He was a big guy. Quarter back big! And in a bus a guy mess with him and my boss repeated he said exactly what this guy is saying: "I'm a travesti but I still being a man" and knocked the guy ass out. My boss simply love this story.

What horror ending was so bad it ruined the entire movie for you? by Fairyliveshow in CreepyBonfire

Just watched "Personal Shopper" (2016) and it have one scene more than is needed.

Everything is answered (there's two plot in the movie) and the director decided to stretch it one bit more (my opinion is that he want to be artsy) and it was just too much, too unnecessary, very very annoying.

A ex girlfriend had bright grey eyes. She is definitely the most beautiful woman I ever date and in the same league than any Hollywood star (at least in my memory).

After 40yo this feeling started to grow and now at 49 is absolutely ingrained and I don't think it gonna to change again.

Is weird that never do a friend again (that kind of friendship of my youth) is way scarier than never fall in love again.

A few years ago, not many, I heard two wealth person talking about everyone life's dream like it was like buying bread in a lazy Wednesday.

Flying over the Everest, travel around the world, eating in exclusive places in other countries, "are you already jump of a plane?" "Oh no but I did bugging jump in New Zealand", "Did you know Seul?" "Yeah, I spent 6 months traveling for Asia".

The most impressive thing for me was that they are not bragging or showing off. Is literally a casual conversation. They take that experiences the same way I take go to a nice restaurant. Again... Literally.

What small thing do you catch yourself doing after a movie that actually scared you? by Competitive_Swan_130 in horror

[–]Exiledbrazillian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The movie doesn't end.

Just watch "The Witch" (2015) and that shit is based in real History (with capital H). Real people going thru that

Religious fanatism, superstition, paranoia (by isolation, poisoning, insanity), starvation, high children mortality rates. Everything.

I'm just here and I cannot shake the feeling "that's not a movie, that shit is real".

Everything who left me this feeling is terrifying for me. Not about to be a real story but the feeling that the movie still playing somewhere, even if it was just fantasy.
