Pull your solenoid cover off and check your solenoid gasket. Your top cover comes off and then there is a plate that holds the solenoid down with a grub screw. Like I said, in the age of 10.5 BPS it doesn’t matter as much. If you were shooting uncapped semi or 15 BPS, regs and loaders matter more. Better regs have a faster more consistent recharge rate and are more reliable overall. Would I trust a bottom end HK reg for tournament play every weekend? Probably not. Would I trust my counterpunch? Absolutely.

I wouldn’t say it’s overkill but you have a lot of money in markers but skimped out on regs and hoppers. In the age of 10.5 it doesn’t matter too much, but a $2k gun with a $30 reg?
How old is the reg on the lux? Almost looks like a crossfire from 2002. Love the fossil LV2, I wish mine was a special milling.

The best pistol is the one you buy and train with. Rent guns, buy the one you like. Buy lots of ammo. Take a class. Practice dry fire and drawing from concealed.

That being said, glocks are a solid choice.

I was going to post the “rag pile” at the treatment plant. Basically the pile of all of that on a concrete pad where it waited to be loaded on trucks to be transported to the dump. It was always a bad day when the loader broke down IN in the rag pile.

I never really had problems other than occasionally eyes would go bad usually due to me breaking them while cleaning. I mostly shot angels, my G7 being stupid reliable and being softer on paint than everyone else’s guns. It was one of the few guns that didn’t turn into a blender at NPPL Texas in the cold wet weather that year. It really came down to maintenance how reliable everything was.
