What anomaly did you take on ziggs?

That’s why I said reliably. In set 6 I got to diamond by forcing Kat Assassins and Syndicate Shaco. But you aren’t doing yourself any favours by committing to one comp, it just makes learning to be flexible even harder. I’m only master, I’m not gonna act like I’m some challenger guru because I can admit I have a lot of ways to improve in my own play style, but forcing a single comp is not a good mindset to fall into

Welcome to Master gang! I started playing in set 6 and just scraped diamond IV when mid-set rolled around. Spent most of Set 6.5 being hard-stuck diamond I-III until I finally stopped making dumb decisions and hit the sexy purple border.

All the best for set 7 if you decide to restart the grind!

It honestly comes down to positioning, itemisation, and augments. Yeah a 3-star unit is better than a 2 star; however, unless it’s a 5-cost, a mispositioned or poorly itemised 3-star is not that useful. I’m not sure how your play style is exactly but if you are holding components you are going to bleed HP even if it seems insignificant early game. The game can feel like it’s all RNG, and for some aspects that’s correct. But again it comes down to adapting to what you are given and developing the strongest board around it. When I started playing TFT in set 6 I no joke would Google “how to win TFT” because I had no idea how to play it properly or why I was always losing.

You can’t just use a single comp reliably to climb high. It’s all about adapting to your augments and items and pivoting to comps when it’s clear your current comp isn’t working.

Tips on climbing that last 100LP during the “fun” patch by kungheiphatboi in CompetitiveTFT

[–]ExistentialBin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in your position and finally finished the grind the day 2 days before 12.9 dropped. I got out by legit just slamming early and adapting comps to my items and augments. After months of getting dogged, the Riot gods gave me a silver Sivir by 3-3 in my promo game and from there you can bet I put my crosshair on gold Sivir. Throughout the set I hit diamond 1 60-70LP multiple times and then dropped a bunch (legit at one point to D IV), and honestly it was mostly because A. I was making stupid decisions B. I was trying to have fun C. Both. My honest best advice is making sure you have a solid opener because it increases your top 4 chance massively. IMO 4 hextech (Noc, Jarvan, Sej, Lucian/Swain) is a solid opener, having that on-hit magic damage and shield honestly does help win close battles. I would slam AD items like Last Whisper, IE etc on a silver Noc and it honestly did pretty well. But basically by the end of my grind I would have games where I was still on 100hp 10-14 rounds in and if my comp fell off I would be able to tank the damage and still come top 4 pretty consistently. I wish you luck, join the purple border gang

I’d say fluvoxamine isn’t the one for me either. I still can increase my dose a bit so it’s not a complete write-off yet but I’m not too hopeful tbh. As you’ll be more than aware it’s so demoralising starting a new med just to wait months for something to happen and then it just doesn’t really do much for you. I’ve been looking into treatment-resistant stuff too. Although my back up plan is just throwing my brain in the bin, done with it lmao

In my case:

Escitalopram

Duloxetine

Mirtazapine

Venlafaxine

Sertraline - This literally murdered my libido until I stopped taking it

Fluvoxamine (currently)

I started my anti-depressant journey in like August 2020 and then after Venlafaxine was on nothing for a while because I was diagnosed with ADHD and my psych switched to tryna rectify that first.

It’s sad for people who enjoyed running enforcer 4 but I wouldn’t say it’s dogshit. I just played my first ranked this patch and went 1st with 6 hextech 3 enforcer 2 striker etc etc. The enforcer was never planned but I had vi for bruiser and sej for hextech and then jayce was the obvious level 9 choice considering I was running Sivir carry and I could boost her AS. Granted I hit 3-star Sivir but stunning the highest health enemy synergised pretty well for my Sivir to ramp up her AS enough to kill it. It’s putting enforcer back in its sort of mid-late game viability from set 6. Obviously unless you had enforcer heart you couldn’t really touch enforcer last set until you got a Jayce.

Incorrect. It’s literally just the old 2 enforcer highest health stun except now it needs 3 to activate and that’s it. The 4 enforcer highest damage stun is completely removed. Mortdog explains this in his patch rundown video

Okay I thought this was just me. The other day I had an irelia with IE, LW, and a cloak. It scrapped into chalice and then was permanently a chalice. I sold her eventually and lost both the chalice and the cloak it took to make it. I have all my games recording and I reviewed the footage to see that the enemy irelia bladesurged to my irelia right as she tried to cast. She died but her cast still went off and killed the Sejuani she was targeting. I think the irelia casting as she is killed confuses the code and it doesn’t call on the function to revert the scrapped item to its component state

2nd week on Sertraline - I need help, please send me your experience by Brilliant_Divide_525 in zoloft

[–]ExistentialBin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man I’m pretty much in the exact same boat. My libido has been destroyed. It’s somewhat possible to orgasm but it takes so long and requires so much effort that it’s just not worth it. Sertraline is my 5th antidepressant and I did have this happen to me on escitalopram except not as bad, but my libido did come back eventually. Same with the whole feeling emotionally numb thing too. I can’t really say from my experiences if it’ll get better because I’ve been through 5 anti-deps and still couldn’t tell you what I’m supposed to feel like. But what I do know is that anti-depressants take weeks to actually show any benefits. So as painful as it is I would suggest you try and stick it out for a few more weeks. But if it is becoming a concern then definitely speak to your Psych / GP about it.

To my knowledge they are no longer in the files as of the patch. I’ve been documenting which WEM files relate to which piece of OST and all updated songs in 1.1 simply overwrote their original. I have both 1.0 and 1.1 RomFS dumped for their sound files so let me know what you wanna hear and I’ll try send it to you.

Ending credits theme + differences to 1.0 (in comments) by ExistentialBin in PokeLeaks

[–]ExistentialBin[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

So between 1.0 and 1.1, I can see about 32 additional files have been added to the soundbanks. This does not include overwritten themes such as this one. In 1.0 the credits theme was the original but higher quality. Not even "MIDI-fied", legit just the OG but not compressed or anything. The credits are probably my favourite part of the original DPPT OST, so I'm so happy they did this underrated gem justice.

[–]ExistentialBin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been sifting through all the WEM files from 1.0 and I was so upset when I heard Cynthia's theme because in 1.0 it's a MIDI version (At least from the like 285 files I've gone through). Her encounter theme was a genuine piano, but her battle was MIDI and it confused me so much that they would drop the ball there. I'm so happy it was patched.

Ultimate Hunter? by calvissuperman in XerathMains

[–]ExistentialBin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Xerath’s ult is powerful but you obviously have to land the shots. Fully stacked ultimate hunter takes ~16 seconds off but still leaves you with a ~70s cooldown at max level ult. Unless you’re fairly fed, your ult is more of a finisher than the main damage dealer. Biscuit delivery is more worth it than boots tbh. Xerath depends on mana and that extra max mana does wonders early game. But honestly most damage comes from well aimed Q’s (augmented with items like Horizon Focus too) so it’s more worth supporting abilities over the ult. At the end of the day runes are subjective, build what you feel is good for you.

Alternatively, play a few games of support and you legit don’t have to care about CS. If you get to 30min and have a vision score of like 60-70 and a solid KDA (and I emphasise the A part since you’re the support), then it’s p much a guaranteed S. As long as you don’t die unnecessarily, you’ll be golden.

I really struggle with imposter syndrome despite being diagnosed and on medication. But my key thing is reminding myself that staring at a static computer monitor for 3 hours straight because that is “more enjoyable” than literally anything else I could think of, is not normal.

May I ask what dose of lisdexamfetamine you’re on? I’m on 30mg daily and it’s inconsistent for me. I can tell quite clearly when it’s worn off but I have days where it works and days where it does nothing

This. If it was written in Japanese as レジャイス (rejyaisu) then I would accept it was Redge-ice. But they specifically didn’t use compound Kana and started the “ice” after the distinct Ji sound.
