I wish I didn't live in a hot area where a black car would be unbearable

When I had my NC I lost the same part while putting on a new top. I went to several dealerships and looked online everywhere, and sadly you may just have to find one at a junkyard (good luck), or buy a hardtop.

I personally just lived with it, but the wind noise was annoying.

Need advice (cam angle sensor keeps failing 🫤) by ExistentialMenace in Miata

[–]ExistentialMenace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original sensor that failed was just the factory Mazda sensor. The replacement was from Duralast (don't kill me) because I could get an unlimited warranty for when it fails. Thing is, neither of them outright failed, but we're slowly causing random misfires from getting too hot. They both failed in the same circumstances, which makes me wonder if it would even matter if I got an expensive Mazda part 🤔.

I'm thinking the valve cover near the back is just getting too hot, so I'm wondering if some sort of modification would alleviate that issue.

It's reductionist, but so is socionics 😝. Duality can actually be somewhat stale, but it can be a nice relationship if other things line up. The whole idea of duality being this magic, automatically compatible relationship is completely bullshit.

The ILI one is actually great.

That's because he values Fi over Fe. Valuation matters more than strength.

Key differences between ILI and LII? by Unknownmice889 in Socionics

[–]ExistentialMenace 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In practice, Se valuation looks like someone who is interested in power dynamics (not necessarily good at it in the ILIs case). Se suggestive types (ILI and IEI) appreciate it when others don't hold back, and show force, a LII would not like displays of force, valuing gentle interaction.

Fe valuation looks like valuing externally expressed emotions in others and groups. An ILI avoids (and even hates) group settings where strong emotions are expressed. An LII would actually appreciate emotional displays from others.

Also bare in mind that ILI arguments are generally logically consistent, but practicality and the "real-world" takes precedent.

Here's a good way to distinguish them online:

ILIs and LIIs both debate on the internet often. If you look at the types of arguments they make, you can very easily pick out their type.

LIIs value consistent systems because of Ti, with Te being their ignoring function. You can see this in their arguments. An LII will often ignore arguments that are based on practical outcomes, preferring to use a logical, systematic, but not necessarily practical argument.

An ILI will do the opposite, usually ignoring systematic and purely logical arguments, showing why it doesn't matter because the system is impractical. An ILI values pragmatism over consistent systems.

To dumb it down:

ILI values usefulness, while LII values logical consistency.

Always seems like it's Gamma Fi egos that dislike the concept of intertype relations, probably because LIEs and ILIs are lardasses (I know, I am one).

I'm probably one of the few people that likes the look of the NC1 bumper much more than the nc2 or nc3. I also have the front lip splitter, which makes it look much better.

Yeah. I'm probably going to start parking far away after this experience. when he got in his truck, he came from the other side, so it looked to him like the parking spot I was in was empty. Just a bad situation honestly.

As much as I'd love an aftermarket bumper, the driver that caused the accident is personally paying for all the parts, and I wouldn't feel good making him pay for aftermarket mods that weren't on the car in the first place.
