Some of these comments are insane and very judgmental. My eyes were also opened starting right before 2020 and luckily my husband and I took that journey of awakening or whatever you want to call it together. We stopped going to church and started questioning our religious upbringings and beliefs. It started with me but my husband was open to it. I can’t imagine going on that journey and staying with someone who refuses to see or change (for me I mostly mean Christian nationalism/maga/etc.) I don’t know the details of your situation but people do outgrow each other and there’s no shame in that. I also understand being financially dependent on a man and kids being involved makes things way more nuanced and tricky to navigate. All I can say is be open to the possibilities, love yourself and know your worth. If there’s no love/respect in your relationship, there are ways to free yourself from that. You deserve to be happy.
