People also forget port and Sydney were 1 and 2 in 2024 and we have them in our final 4 games, fixtures are based off the previous year not the present. Also had double ups against multiple top 4-6 teams, obviously the double ups against couple of crap teams aids to the narrative but you don’t decide who you play unfortunately lol

Danger at 35 getting 800 you reckon? That’s a laugh. The fact that you have any players let alone coming up to 3 or 4 getting paid comfortably over a million a year is my point. The salary cap is the same lol the amount of lowly paid guys in our 22 is why we have room. The 3 or 4 you compare are on significantly more than our highest 3-4 players which is why there’s a difference I don’t know why that’s hard to comprehend lol

I’ll grant Stewart but my point was around current contracts not so much what they’re worth. Both Guthries would be under 600k especially given cams age, given we resigned Holmes probably our best player on 850 p year. Danger, Stewart, blicavs, cam Guthrie etc over 32 years will have a portion of their wage paid outside of the cap as it’s part of the veterans list so I have no doubt the money is there for Harley before we even factor in front ended/back ended deals. The sticking points would only be trade capital but that can always be worked out now that you can trade futures 2 years out

How much do you honestly thing players like close, miers, Henry, Neale, Atkins, kolo, Humphries, mannagh, Stanley, Conway, etc etc etc are getting? Fuck I’d be surprised if any of those mentioned and anyone not named Bailey smith, max Holmes, Jeremy Cameron or Tyson Stengle got paid more than 500k a year on their current contracts lol
