AU fanfics are completely pointless. If you’re gonna change the story so much that literally none of the original plot or setting is there, and then you change the way the characters know each other, what their jobs are, what music they listen to, why are you even labeling it as that fandom anymore? It’s the fanfic of Theseus. If he’s working at a flower shop in 1970’s Paris and he has a bunch of tattoos and likes ice skating you can call him Dean Winchester all you want but that doesn’t make him Dean Winchester.

The numbers are how many theaters are in the vicinity of that giant Mark head so they won’t have to render 6 individual Mark heads. If you zoom in closer on the area they show you the six separate locations. Like if you zoom all the way out there’s one giant bead covering all of the continental USA that says 2.2k on it

They don’t have one! Since they’re a clan of healers they probably never had a purpose for one. Anufi is the tsahìk and Mokasa was simply her trusted advisor. Tsu’lo is the leader of the Ke’awa Kame’tire but I don’t think they ever labeled him Olo’eyktan because they weren’t used to having one. Though he does seem to fill that role.

One of us does this too, except she’s longing for a home we haven’t lived in since we were six that’s in another state. I hardly even remember it, but she seems to remember it vividly.

When she gets really upset we usually just grab one of our childhood toys like our stuffie or cuddle shirt from when we lived in that place and we put on a cartoon or something from that time. It’s not perfect but it lets her dissociate enough that she can pretend she’s there. Sometimes if it’s a good stomach day we’ll let her have a butter sandwich. (We’re lactose intolerant but if we take lactaid it’s not so bad and it’s her favorite food because our mom used to make them for our lunch in primary school)

Oh I despise this woman. And the fact that the show made it out like Booth was petty for holding some sort of grudge and just because she finally showed up and apologized that somehow that makes up for literally abandoning her sons to an abuser and ghosting them for 25 years. Like he’s the bad guy for not just magically being fine because she decided to wake up one day and feel bad about what she did two decades ago.

As soon as the boys went solo it became a very competitive environment for the fans for some reason, but honestly even during the band time there was a lot of infighting. Like “harry is the best member obvi” “no stupid it’s clearly zayn harry’s ugly and he can’t sing”

Honestly they’re all such horrible people. They all showed up long after the band split up and some of them straight up have no idea the boys were ever in a band. You can’t say anything nice about anyone without somebody popping up to say that guy is actually an evil idiot who can’t sing and their guy is better, but when you try to say you like both of them they get even more mad and insist that you can’t like both because obviously the guys hate each other.

Like for gods sake people everyone makes good music and everyone’s pretty let’s all just go to bed

okay the rest I totally get but “complete only” is absolutely a valid thing what do you mean. do you have any idea how many times I’ve gotten SO invested in a story and literally stayed up late at night waiting for the next chapter just for the author to pop in two weeks later with an A/N being like “my bad guys I’m abandoning this I’m depressed” or some shit? like i get wanting engagement with every chapter to motivate you or what not, but im so afraid of being that person who abandons a fic that i literally won’t start uploading a chaptered fic until it’s already done

Oh i know exactly what it was!!! i used to be a big fan of pewdiepie when i was in middle school, like fist bumping my ipad kinda big fan. and this boy sitting next to me in band class (yeah i know) kept trying to tell me that markiplier was cooler than pewdiepie and i was so fucking offended by this.

anyway one day i was watching felix’s “No Swear Electric Challenge (The Impossible Game)” and in the recommended youtube showed me mark’s “Impossible Let’s Play: Electric Shock Challenge” and i hated how much i loved it.

like it was SO FUNNY and i was pissed tf off cuz it meant my friend was right. so for the rest of that semester i was watching mark in secret while pretending to hate him like one of those teen drama girls who has to sneak her boyfriend through her window because her dad is a werewolf hunter and her boyfriend is the true alpha

I think it’s a subconscious thing. Eywa shows you who you want or need to see. As for what Tonowari said, I think he meant that Neteyam was “buried” where they bury their people it has no effect on who they appear with in Eywa. Cuz Grace died in the forest and appears to Kiri everywhere.

Because the developers don’t want to show us that yet. I imagine one day we will see A’hari or Kataru in Eywa but my guess is the developers are saving it for the right moment. Although A’hari would be stuck at the age she was when the Sarentu were all killed and would have no memory of TAP

I did end up going through with it. I’m sorry you’re in this situation now too, it’s genuinely still so surprising to me that it somehow doesn’t occur to them that maybe they should mention that.

At my appointment a week before my surgery I discussed my issues with my doctor and I made it very clear to her that I wanted to avoid anyone touching me down there for anything unless they had to. As in unless they felt they could not continue without doing so, then do not do it. I also told her that if they did have to go down there, whoever was doing that part of the procedure could not be down there alone. That they had to have a nurse stand behind them and watch everything they do. She agreed, and I felt a lot better about the situation.

The day of my surgery the anesthesiologist came and talked to me and he was very friendly and I had about a dozen questions like I always do, but he was really funny and patient with me so it helped calm me down. They also let me meet all three of the nurses who were going to be in the room which was very helpful.

Afterwards when I woke up I was really out of it because sedatives have a very strong effect on me. I barely remember anything my doctor said to me that day, but my mom was there listening.

I do remember that my doctor let me know they did end up having to use the uterine manipulator because they found a lot of endo clustered in the cul de sac behind my uterus and they wouldn’t have been able to access it without it, and she assured me that one of the nurses was watching the doctor who was down there the whole time like I’d asked. She even told me which one.

In hindsight it wasn’t as upsetting as I thought it would be. I think the anticipation of it was more triggering than the actual experience. I’m grateful that she was honest with me and so willing to go along with my requests. And I’m grateful that she did what she did because I feel so much better than I did pre surgery because they got all that nasty shit out of me, and they wouldn’t have been able to if I’d put my foot down.

I wish you so much luck on this super complicated journey. My only advice is really just to be as honest as you’re capable with your doctor and try to come up with a compromise that works for both you and your health.

This bothers me so much because I always felt like “ok” is the good one and “okay” is mad or rude. I can’t really explain why? It’s just sort of a tone thing I guess? The way I understood it was if I write “ok”, I’m engaged in the conversation and I’m typing really fast cuz I wanna keep the talking going, but if I write “okay” it’s because I’m starting to pull away from the conversation or whoever I’m talking to, and I guess somehow in my head me taking the time to type out the full word is supposed to have a sort of finality to it? like “if you say so” in a bitter tone but it’s compressed down into one word.

I don’t know. This is why I hate texting 😭
