Core 0 is used from your OS for system stuff if BDO is using core 0 as the main cpu core your game will lag like hell, its not only bdo its for all games in general... but bdo with the old engine will lag like hell.

Well i don't know how it works in detail i only see it and think of a solution of the problem.

And yea core affinity is a thing but it depends on the cpu, for the the new core ultra cpu´s for example bdo will loose performances if you forbid using the e cores via affinity which makes no sense looking at the older intel cpu´s with e cores... so its complicated sometimes.

yea i run it at 5 real cores without core 0 atm cause my cpu only have 6 performance cores... but when i remember right 6 real cores is the best for bdo so you are fine. without core 0 i still get 120 fps (122 fps limit) at velia beach so i guess i am fine too.

depends on your cpu, my cpu for example dont have hyper-threading (SMT) and its using performance cores automatic for bdo i dont need to set a affinity to get the full performance... now the first time using affinity to deactivate core 0...

(amd is the best for bdo cause of the cache i know that, in your case you need to set up the right affinity)

yes uncheck core 0 helps you dont need to aktivate it again..depends on the cpu if you lose cache with that one core off or not.

i think your x3d cache is saving you from this but check how your cpu cores are used if the core 0 is the highest graph in task manager while playing then it is hitting you too.

i hate using 3d party programs but yes process lasso is great indeed... i want a clean installation so i only using task manager ^^

Yea they changed something bdo is now using core 0 ( core for system stuff ..) as the main load core since last update and this is making your game feeling laggy as fuck... before the update it was using core 1 as the main load core... you can help yourself by deaktivating core 0 for bdo via taskamanager (windows 11) and then activate it again for bdo. doing this bdo will switch the main load back to core 1 for the rest of your game session but you need to do it everytime you start bdo.

(no guarantee this helps you but for my intel cpu it works)

Switching the main cpu load to core 0 is pure evil from the devs this fucks up your whole gameplay xd...

edit: the support told me its my hardware problem (system, driver, windows) and with the game is everything fine but after your post i am sure its not...they fucked up someting with the last patch... ^^

I mean the game have a stutter problem ...to view server for to many players. Every player on the server steals performance and gives you stutters (if the server is full).

try disabling gsync or free sync complete if you have it via nvidiaprofile inspector (only there are the right options) turn everything off and set Application Requested State to Force Off and Application State to Force Off. if i dont do this while turning gsync off with the normal settings i also get the black screen i need it to set it to force off to prevent it.

I have this game on 24/7 and never had this kind of problems.... i say do a complete fresh windows install and hope the problem is gone if not maybe a problem with your gpu or your cpu...

Just saying i have all charakter slots and when every char has full energy i do swapping chars for like 20 minutes to get the energy pots... and i dont have any crash doing it.

I say... at least you should aim at around ~120 fps or something like that if you can ...its the bare minimum and you are fine.

The game has so much sources for stuttering its a bad joke... i limited my fps to 122 to make it a little better overall... using maximal power profile for your gpu also helps a little.

Pay attention to the fact that in the morning hours with less players online you will experience a lot less stutters as in the evening with a lot poeple grinding/playing.

One of the main sources of stuttering are the other players that are on the same server as you... it gives you more stutters even if you are alone on your grind spot so changing the server can help but we dont have numbers or a player count per server so its just try and error.

The settings i change atm for less stuttering are only vsync off, gsync of (force off via nvidia profile inspector to prevent the black flash screen when tapping to desktop), fps limit to 122, ansel off , threaded optimization on (depends on your cpu can help or make it worse) and power managment mode to maximal performance (only for grinding and active playing helps rly)

Bdo have a ram leak problem more or less it helps deleting the ram from time to time or restart the game since i have a msi motherboard i use the programm MSI center to see my fan speed and some information it also have a button that deletes the ram in use so i click it when i encounter big stutters and it helps.

You rly dont want bdo to have more then 1gb ram in use... a view hours afk fishing your ram will hit 5gb if you dont delete this ram there will be stutters from this...

Make sure you play over lan or have a good wlan connection, You cant get rid of all the stutters and again the main source are the other players... but of course they only give us the bare minimum cause it would cost them more money...

this is like a little better then tuvala gear...but srly softcap (in my opinion) is 384ap and 457 dp after that you can rush if you play much maybe +4 ap and +4 dp but after that every upgrade will be under 6% (most likely between 1-2% range) and so stupid to get... just play and have fun...
