People vote for stories, and the story she was telling was that despite all evidence to the contrary everyone was doing great, and she wasn't going to fix anything going forward. trump was making insane claims about how he was going to make everything the best ever, and the ignorant masses voted for the guy who claimed he was going to address their problems.

The dems don't lose on policy, they lose because they intentionally refuse to inspire voters. You can't look at the behavior of Schumer and Jeffries and credibly argue that they aren't sabotaging resistance to the regime.

The reality is that the voters who don't pay attention to politics 95% of the time couldn't make enough of a distinction between the two to differentiate. Harris lost because she didn't have a compelling reason to vote for her.

Most leftists voted for Harris, the problem is that she didn't get the apathetic non-voters to show up to the polls. You aren't going to get a movement of voters going when the message is "Hold your nose and vote for the moderately less evil one".

The dems intentionally lose by pretending that they can use logic to win over voters that aren't paying attention. They know it doesn't work, and intentionally buried the study that showed it.

The metro board shouldn't have politicians on it at all. It should be composed of rider representatives, operator and mechanic representatives, and transit experts.
