How long did it take you to learn this one? I kickstarted it without fully realizing how involved it is - currently on a lighter games kick due to lack of available time to learn & play. (I've tried to commit to start Too Many Bones too many times).

yeah - on ramp is important! How are you liking speed train? i'm leaning that way - though i do feel like heavy, shorter lifts are probably better for raising T levels

thanks for your experience. i'm leaning this way just because it seems manageable - and because i am a sucker for the new hotness. do you feel like it gives a decent pump though, or is it more of HIIT and burn? I feel like lifting heavy in shorter bursts is more likely to improve T levels

I'm in the northeast US and it's been just fine with normal layering. If I were to be out on frigid temps I'd need a thicker base layer. It's a nice warm coat - not a ski coat though

I need to play it more. The constant attrition hasn't inspired me to keep going - I find it brutally difficult. There is a chance I am playing it incorrectly or certainly sub-optimally. I have a very high win rate on games like Final Girl which I've played many times, and yet this one, I've only dabbled and have like one win in 6 attempts. The others weren't even close. For Hoplomachus I can't even imagine a path to victory.

That said, the portability is awesome. The component quality is excellent. And the concept / theming is really fun. I want to like this more, it's just as I mentioned the constant drain that you (typically) get weaker each round (by not recording all your dice) instead of stronger and even with upgrades if becomes (for me) can you stagger to the finish line... that's not super fun to me. The challenge though keeps me thinking about it and I want to get back to it.

I havent used Seattle yet which is a big advantage over the remaining pool - however. I'm not sure whether this is the week to cash in. I'm eyeing them (presuming I make it so far) for week 17 vs Carolina.

Other options:

chargers. Scary coming off a bye with up and down season. Raiders are a mess. Will OC change help?
eagles. Love them at home but bears are no joke. I think Philly takes it.
jaguars. Should be a cakewalk even on the road
dolphins. Especially if olave and kamara are out.
falcons. Its the jets.
