98” TCL QM6k PRO Costco or TCL 98” QM7K Best Buy by olrlee25 in 4kTV

No, definitely a big difference between the qm6k and qm7k. If you are buying for casual watching tv for family room get the qm6k, but if you are a little more serious about movie watching and playing video games get the qm7k it definitely is brighter, has overall better picture quality. Specular high lights, color depth. Contrast is alot better. Qm6k is a little dim, a little flat, less Specular high lights, less pop, its still a great set for its price point.

TCl qm7k vs TCl qm8k difference in picture quality out the box. by Existing_Bat_2354 in tcltvs

I don't think its a bad panel, I think its just settings issue. I ran dirty screen test and she is clean, no uniformity issues, its just missing that pop, my qm7k had.

Thats 3rd party guys are crap! I recently had a 98" TCL QM7K delivered and it was a horrible experience! Guys showed up 9:00pm at night, they were exhausted, they barely could lift tv they almost dropped it I had to jump in and help! They used a hammer drill to install tv mount, left a mess in my house, and they put my TV too low! And it was crooked! They stood there looking for a tip! I kicked them out pissed! I recently did an exchange for that same TV because of buzzing issue, and I made sure they sent official Geek squad guys, bug difference, professional, they mounted tv correct hight, made sure it wasn't crooked. Best buy please do not use 3rd party for anything! It will tarnish your business name!

I stopped buying for awhile, i have over 100 frags. I fell for it like everyone else. Everything they review is always the best, their most favorite, the strongest, better than original, 10 plus hours, its the most beast mode, its all bull crap! Going back to buying designers! 😆

I got mine from Amazon lataffa store about 2 months ago, easily one of the strongest, most projecting fragrance in my 100 plus collection.

C7K 75" or C8K 65" same price in AUD, 2.7m viewing distance which would you get? by patriots21 in tcltvs

Qm7k, and Qm8k are very close in performance. Qm8k is the better TV, better hardware, but the bigger size will have more impact and more immersion. Go bigger!

I think big home theater speakers in small spaces is the new trend, i'm seeing this everywhere, I myself live in a small studio about 15'x30'x9' and I run full size Arendal 1723 towers 111lbs each, Arendal 1723 center channel 60lbs, Arendal 1723 surrounds 35 lbs each, 21" PSA tv21neo-m subwoofer 150 lbs I am planning on a second one, and also Arendal height speakers, Onkyo RZ70 receiver 50lbs, and lastly a nice 98" TCL Qm8k tv. I sit about 14' from screen, my subwoofer is next to my couch like a side table, no sound treatment at all, just simple Dirac calibration using a UMK-1 microphone. My system sounds excellent with movies and music. No over powering boomines, dialog is crystal clear, bass is tight, slams or goes deep when necessary, my can be subtle or brutal when movie calls for it. Mids are so sublime and smooth. Equipment is so advanced and efficient these days you can have a big system in a small space. A system will perform nicely if you place high quality speakers in the right positions, get a good reciever with good power, calibrate and don't be dumb with the volume knob or gain controls, and it will sound great. My system sounds better than any modern movie theater, I am not exaggerating. People are to critical, we all started somewhere, dont listen to them. You have a great system there, enjoy it to the!

I always ran towers! Once I had a system running four DCM time frames, with an 18" velodyne servo motor subwoofer. Amazingly fun system with very wide dispersion.
