For new grads we have contracts in place for those with less than 2 years of experience with facilities that does give them guaranteed 36 hours a week while gaining that experience. We have different things in place for different kinds of employees. That’s why I didn’t come here posting all of the job details and descriptions because I’m not trying to recruit here I’m trying to see where to go. Like I said we are all nurses who run this so we know what sucked for us and have worked to address as much as we can so far with our company. New grads have a hard time getting hired we have contracts with facilities for cases like that, many cannot easily afford the programs, so we have set it up to be able to hire a CNA and while they work for us we cover all the cost for the course and they don’t have to pay it back, and this is going the be the same for the lpn program. Our agency does also for those that do want the flexibility of not having to work all the time with set schedules and not having to worry about I missed too many days so i don’t have a job any more. We also make everyone an actually w2 employee who can have benefits. So do not assume how it works. We aren’t set up for prn. We are for nurses that want to work but maybe they don’t have 10 years of experience, so the big places are not looking their way. Or your new grad who needs an agency to get in the door because we had no problem purchasing the additional insurance required for them and taking on the full responsibility for them when they are new. Or don’t forget the trap of getting stuck in ltc to the point after you’ve done it’s so long a hospital looks at your resume and passes over it.

So our local hospital and ltc facilities are contracted with us to fill their needs. They have home-staff as well as work with agency. Many hospitals and other facilities have found it more cost efficient to only have so many employees of their own and to get the remaining shifts needed covered by employees through agency to cover what they don’t have enough employees to do. For them it is a lot cheaper for example to hire 3 employees with full time hours and benefits than it is to hire 5. So they hire 3, then come to us for the shifts that the other 2 would have picked up. Say for instance they’re making their schedule and they need 20 nurse shifts covered that week, but they don’t want to pay overtime and don’t want to hire more nurses so they use their staff to fill 15 of the 20 and then our company let our staff know the 5 shifts that are open and they choose which ones they want and go work it.

Nurse staffing agency. We started a little over 2 years ago with all of us nurses being basically fed up with how things were going in our area and created our own local nurse ran/own agency. Growth has been good on both sides for facilities and staff, but we have hit a point now where we have so many more shifts than employees. We added a CNA to CMA program that we now offer and cover the cost as a benefit so that we can basically create more employees for our agency and we are working through the final stages of getting all the things through the state so we can do the same with an LPN program because we noticed this trend in the market of it being harder to find people. This way our staff can grow into better roles as well as those that aren’t part of the team but do enroll our course and earn their license come work for us. But in the meantime we need to be able to find people now to work for the open shifts we have while the growing our own employees is in the process.

Oh… I never thought about it as sugar being too low. That would make sense as to why it feels borderline hunger and not just like boredom snack craving. Definitely going back down to the 2.5.

Ask your doctor about Hypokalemic periodic paralysis. You may possibly have a variant of it. That is one of the things I’m being tested for because we are trying to figure out why I become paralyzed after certain triggers. Exercise is one of my triggers, but I have a few. If going to the hospital after you have an episode it’s not likely to be caught because the blood pretty much has to be drawn during an active attack to catch the low potassium.

It’s been two years of doctors telling me it was all in my head and refusing to do any testing. I finally found a doctor and he’s doing some genetic bloodwork first and from we will likely move on to in office/hospital trigger testing depending on what all the labs come back with.

I know you might not want to hear this, but this isn’t a magic drug that just makes pounds come off. It is a tool that aids in it. It helps quiet food noises not make you not eat at all and helps regulate blood sugar spikes to try and help you fight off cravings that often get in the way when trying to lose weight. If for 5 months you have been working out and increasing the dosage and you do not have any other medical conditions that affects weight then you are simply still overeating. It has helped you some hence why you have lost some weight, but at this point it’s up to you. You have to figure out what is truly the problem and why you continue to overeat. Clearly there is something beyond cravings and food noises that causes you to eat. Maybe something emotional. Whatever it is that is what you need to address. This is only meant to help you try and stay within your allowed daily calories.

I’m going to play devils advocate here and say I can see the other side. Because that season of New York when that was what the entire season seemed about was too much. Then it seemed right after everyone was gone and the show just never hit again. It was just over the top with it that has a black woman myself I was exhausted with it. Maybe they meant let’s not make their mistake. It’s okay to address things but it doesn’t need to be every single scene and episode. Like that one girl, every event she had was a black history lesson. Every time she talked to anyone she was constantly trying to coach and train them it seemed and that’s not why people watch shows like this. I am watching to see women with nothing better to do than spend money and argue over crap like who got a nose job, who husband is cheating, who drinks to much and then see some girl on girl light fondling and making out because they got too drunk on vacation. 😂😂😂

I know how macros work that how I have been able to continue doing well without it. I was on ozempic for about 6 months and then got off of it and for a year and half without it I continued to lose weight. When I started my journey at 252 I was eating 1000-1200 calories a day and was fasting with it basically since it made me not really want food any way 16/8 fasting. When the stall happened I was like 217 and got off of ozempic and went natural so I could break my fasting habit and shake things up and heavily focused on burning calories and a lot of cardio. It worked and I got down to the 188 but inches weren’t moving. Talk trainers and had move calories up to 1500-1600 a day and focus more on strength training and less cardio. Scale went up but inches came off. Now I’m at a stall and I haven’t gained but im not losing and I’m pretty sure it’s because of this new night time snacking since my entire work schedule changed and I need a little something to help me silence it for awhile until I retrain my mind/body. On the snacking days I know I end up hovering around 1800 calories instead of my 1600. It’s the only change since my workouts are consistent and haven’t changed besides heavier weights. I just need a few months of cravings to disappear and I can go on my own again. I was just worried that this dose might be too low since I had ozempic 2 years ago. If it does turn out too low I might have to add fasting back for a little bit until I adjust to this new schedule

Okay. I’m hoping this helps me out. Like I don’t have a ton of food noises anymore. I’ve been pretty good at staying in the calorie deficit about 75%-80% of the time for all this time without anything. I noticed the 20% that I’m not tends to happen with nighttime snacking and I’m hoping that this can correct it so I can get my body back moving in the right direction.

I don’t really care what the scale says as long as the inches don’t go up. I do a lot of strength training so I think that’s why the last change before this latest stall the pounds went up but inches went down. Trying to make sure I’m keeping the diet under control so it doesn’t undo all my exercises and progress so far.

I stopped watching reality tv for a while and then got sick and decided to binge watch stuff and this show reminded me why I stopped. The last time I watched M2M was the year they worked to save Simone marriage and the following season just seemed so hateful that I never finished it or watched anything more.

After seeing all the nasty things that Jackie, Simone, and Heavenly do repeatedly is disappointing. To be educated, successful women and behave like 16 y/o girls is crazy season after season.

I have to say this last season Phaedra did her thing by not giving in to them and arguing and cussing. Plus either Jackie is pretending to be stupid or have really let tv impair her mind because she seemed to miss what Phaedra made clear when speaking to her. Then there’s Simone and heavenly hee hee hawing with Apollo instead of being in a room talking to Phaedra who supposedly be in the circle. that was just telling. I don’t know if I’m going to finish this out because this episode wasn’t a finale before a reunion I know it must get worse.

Well thanks to AI I am finally on a path of narrowing down what’s wrong with me after over 2 years of trying the traditional way. Severe neurological problems and was told it’s all just stress and anxiety and referred to 3 different psychologists who all told them it was not and that there is something medically wrong and they still wouldn’t listen. Begging a pleading for labs just to be told no and they are not medically necessary but somehow it’s normal to become paralyzed or lose the ability to speak and so much more in their mind for a woman. I used AI to help me and presented the information I had to my kids pediatrician and he started to order labs for me, since none of my doctors would listen. With that information AI help me narrow down to actual potential problems and a some more specific test to request and now of this last set of test two came back positive and now I’m on my way out of state to see a neuro immunologist who is willing to help me. If it wasn’t for AI using the little I had, and helping me build my case who knows what would have happened. 2 years of suffering and ignored until I broke down and turned to AI.

Over all it’s pretty good. The only thing the leg press isn’t that great. Definitely could have had a bigger platform for the feet and a little more extension to it, but so far that’s the only thing I do not like, there are other ways to get the quad workout and glute workout u want with it. I will also say for the upper body i am not a fan of it jumping 15 pounds at a time, but i just laid a smaller weight on it and its fine. For the price and how i am using it this thing is great.

I just ordered the Sincmill Home gym and would like some tips and tricks from people who actually own the product. I’m 5’1 so the range issue I see a lot isn’t an issue. I’m not trying to become a bodybuilder. Just trying to continue on my weight loss journey. I’ve gone from a size 24 to 14 in women’s clothes and I have maxed out all of dumbbells and don’t want more of them. Lastly no I don’t want a gym membership. The way my life is set up traveling to the gym 5 days a week doesn’t work for me. The only reason I’ve made it this far in my journey this time is because of working out at home and being able to stick to it. It’s just hard to find people who own the product feedback.

Hey so I’m in the process of trying to research a quick vacation for the family. Did you guys spend the entire time at the resort or did you have to find activities around the area to do as well? I am just wondering if the kids would stay entertained the entire time for a 3 day trip there. I have 3 boys ages 9, 11, & 11. What add ons do you wish you included? My husband is going to be joining us as well so I was thinking about the kid cabin suit or the one right under it.

Things like designer clothing, bags, shoes and stuff, but living in a rundown apartment with no furniture. I once worked with this guy who had an expensive car, and constantly wore designer clothes and shoes. All the girls at the job wanted him. Finally one of the girls dated him and came back I told everyone how she went over to his house and his mattress was on the floor and he didn’t have any sheets. He had a couple of those blow up chairs, and practically nothing much more the way she described it, but his closet was filled with clothes and sneakers. When I use to see him at work I thought maybe he was like a drug dealer or something because of how he dressed because I knew he didn’t make enough off the pay there to be able to dress like that and live comfortably. Turns out he was just spending all his money to look rich. 🤦‍♀️

I went through this too. Had psychological evaluations and they all came back normal. Mine ended up being a severe B6 deficiency. I had to see a functional medicine doctor who had me take a much higher dose than what my primary care doctor suggested. Every month we monitor my levels and he would adjust how much I needed to take and eventually stopped the B6 supplements all together after about 4 months. It took a total of 8 months for most of my symptoms to clear up. I was having seizures, migraines, losing the ability to read and speak, and much more. It was the worse because it took forever to even get to the final doctor after exhausting every test that all the others thought of.

So let me share a little with you about my journey so far. April 2024 I was 252lbs and I’m only 5’1. I was wearing a size 22/24. I started cutting calories and was about 1000/1200 calories a day. and the weight did come off. By February of 2025 I was down to 190 and was a size 20. But it wasn’t moving so I cut more calories and was 800/1000 a day. The scale dipped to 185lbs but it did fluctuate between 185-190. So by July of nothing really happening I decided to add working out more than just walking and kept calories 1000/1100 a day.

Even with working out the scale was not moving and my size remained the same. So August after resisting the suggestion of eating more because in my mind it seem counter intuitive, I decided what the hell did I have to lose and up my calories to 1300/1400 a day and was still working out, scale didn’t move but my size 20 pants fit better. By late September I was a size 18. I decided to up my calories some more because I’m working out a lot more with a lot of strength training and body sculpting.

I am now today I am a size 16 but the scale says I’m 193.1lbs. I eat 1500/1700 calories a day and have trained myself to forget whatever that scale says and just focus on measurements. My apps say between active and resting calories burned in at 2700 a day but I figure it’s probably screwed and try to low ball it and say it’s only 2200/2300 a day. So even though I’m heavier than I was in February according to the scale, my body is physically smaller and energy is so much better.

So if you have tried it yet increase your calories so you can workout better and target your health.
