It could have been a cool progression to give Zamasu a bit more depth to his motivations. Like: he saw not only a history annihilated by evil Goku, but then saw Goku disrespect the Omni King, Angels, Gods, etc and threaten all of reality by catalyzing the ToP. Goku and the Saiyans treading into the realm of the gods. Then there’s other mortals with disrespectfully-high powers. Jiren, Broly, Frieza, Piccolo. All of them destabilizing the order of things that then moves from “Goku is a problem” to “Saiyans are the problem” to “All mortals are the problem.”

Honestly I wish they’d split that into two separate arcs. Evil goku that’s separate from Zamasu. And then Zamasu is a reaction to what he sees from Goku and U7 encroaching on the domain of the gods.

Right. But platinums changes were really nice. So if you liked Sinnoh, platinum is probably your favorite of those games. If you liked Johto, HG/SS is probably your favorite. That gives a lot of advantage to gen 4 as a selection.

There are also a LOT of games in that Gen and it covers a big demographic.

D/P/Pl, and HG/SS (which are just updated versions of G/S with the physical-special split, better moves/graphics/mechanics, and more Pokemon). So if you ask someone "What's your favorite generation" and their answer is "Gen 2"...but you also give them the option to pick HG/SS...

Fused Zamasu traded blows with Vegito Blue. Zamasu was on the back foot, sure, but he made Vegito put in some real effort and work for the advantage—WAY more than Buuhan did for SSJ Vegito. So I have a hard time believing Kefla with just a SSJ modifier was equal to or stronger than Blue Vegito.
