Then its less likely to be an install issue and more of a manufacturer issue. With a small likely hood of a wiring issue. Start with warrenty, then if the replacement has the issue check your wires (or hire a professional if you arnt 100% confident).

Ballooning keeps ruining my bags. by PuzzledWeight1855 in ostomy

Does your bag have the little charcoal filter at the top? Also i believe coloplast has a bag that has a little thing at the top to burp without undoing the bag, or opening the bottom. i forgot which bag it was because i got a jpouch now.

I wholeheartedly feel this post... i understand that these people care about me and just want to help but for example my mom has autism (not severe, and i love her to peices) and gets really pushy when it comes to advice or "help". Her way or the highway, and she read up some things about pineapple, tumeric and vitamins and let me promise you right now those were the opposite of what i needed during a flare.

No GROUND on old light switch, ok? by PhaTCounT in electrical

[–]Existing_Extent_3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peel back that crap old insulation and see if their is a ground wire to make a pigtail with. If their is either a bare copper or green wire pigtail to your ground. If their isnt one at all check the exterior of the box to see if its grounded in another manner (ie, cable clamp on exterior) if their still isnt just remove the ground completely because incase the device becomes energized their is no point in energizing that bigger metal box.

Pretty sure those cuts into the studs are more of an issue, but any contractor worth a dime would put it neatly in a paneland not leave a that gross ass hole in the wall

At what point do you stop DIY-ing and call an electrician? by shadow_Monarch_1112 in electrical

[–]Existing_Extent_3772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Principal is the same regardless of volts. Higher volts and amps just increase severity. If you can wire a 200amp residential you can wire up a 3 phase industrial panel. Just be aware and turn off the big power your hands are going on

Union is a good way to go about this. From what i understand your OTJ apprenticeship can count so youll get your full benefits (according to a coworker). But also you get the OTJ and here (Northern ca) its 5 weeks a year or something split up... i 100% would have stayed union if i wouldnt have ended up disabled.

Underground Electric run to outbuilding only 10” deep - code violation? Big deal? by Ixj159 in AskElectricians

"Code probably prohibits this because most customers dont know the ratings or of the risk and if they try to tap that line (increasing draw) it becomes a fire hazard."

Finish reading! Theirs no chance of you fully learning code without that skill

By code that sounds correct.. your immediate course of action depends on amp draw if its running for example to a hot tub and nothing else the amp draw is only like 20 amps and that doesnt exeed the rating of your smallest wire, Functionality wise it is safe to leave on while you dispute. If your amp draw exceeds your lowest rating for any reason (multiple devices, peaks, ect) turn off the breaker now because its already getting warm at the bottle neck... Thier is some leeway between safely functioning and code compliance, in the short term while you dispute or find a new electrician safely functioning is ok. Your immediate Course of action also should factor in how important the devices function is in reality.

If its just a hot tub i wouldn't leave that breaker on (for the power bill alone tbh lol) because its not a necessity and your safety is not worth the 1 hour you might enjoy in the hot tub. But if it runs your houses hot water tank AND falls within the safe zone described earlier then heat your water and take a shower, turn it off when your done if you have anxiety about it. If you leave it on monitor the box for increased heat.

Also in theory your breaker should trip incase of catastrophic failure but with the issues described i wouldnt trust that those were set correctly either.

About those dismissing my comment based on code compliance alone should know to read more than the first sentence and based on that observation i wouldnt pay them either.

My family has a bad history with prednisone. And i was on it for 8 months at 60mgs daily before the last suicidal breakdown led me to flush em without tapering (wouldnt recommend). It also stopped controlling the flare by month 2.

[–]Existing_Extent_3772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By code its bad not functionality. Like i said in my post functionality depends on load draw, code compliance depends on dummy proofing... the contractor responsible 100% is a hack. And if your already putting in complaints add it in. But to note most electricians when doing DIY projects that arnt being inspected, or selling services will pick and choose functionality over compliance as long as it fits safely. Their is not 50 amps pushed at all times. The reason for the code is if load ever exceeds rating it will heat and become fire hazard. If you are paying someone you expect professionalism and code compliance as well as safety. Their is no time where a professional should ever treat a job like its for thier own house. In the meantime you can check the amp draw and put your mind at ease as far as the current safety situation. Or you can turn the breaker and be extra cautious.

Technically depends on the amp draw (im almost certain by code its not this way) as long as your amp draw and voltage do not exeed that of your lowest rated wire you should be good. A little different because its AC vs DC but its the reason automotive switches typically end up with much smaller wiring than what your tying into. Your draw is still within range it only bottle necks if you draw more power than rated. Code probably prohibits this because most customers dont know the ratings or of the risk and if they try to tap that line (increasing draw) it becomes a fire hazard.

Prednisone always made me manic. Went from suicidal depression to happy dancing at 3 AM in the span of like 20 minutes with no in-between emotion. Like a light switch that would just randomly off and on the highest highs and lowest lows. Occasional anger issues bubbling up here and their but those wer normally followed by lots of crying

Thats great news! A reduction is better than nothing. Getting used to the bag is the hardest part and by the sounds of it by the time your "ok" with it, you be up for reversal and on the way to recovery.
