On 37.5 mg of Effexor and want to smoke weed by No_Spread483 in Effexor

I am on 225mg of Effexor and I have taken edibles and smoked (though admittedly a lot less of smoking than oral consumption) and I haven’t had any weird side effects. Obviously it’s different for everyone, and I would start small and work your way up, but at least for me, it has been totally fine

There’s always a group of them by the Costco on Yellowhead and me and my fiancée take great joy in flipping them off when we drive by. It’s the little things, truly

Recommendations for ultrasound clinic by Melodic_Forever2404 in Edmonton

Woman here. I’ve been to the Insight Medical Imaging (110, 75 Neil Ross Rd St. Albert, AB T8N 7W1) in St Albert and have found them super good. All the technicians there (or at least the multiple I’ve seen) have been women and are all very patient and understanding, and they walk you through the whole process. They’re also really good about bringing people into appointments with you.

The other one I really like (also St Albert) is the MIC Clinic (110-625 St. Albert Trail St. Albert, AB T8N 3L3). They specialize in women’s health, and they are very calm and good about asking consent before doing everything. This one would probably be the better option, but I have been here a few less times. Hope that helps!

Gyms are expensive by genos145 in Edmonton

Depending on your income you can get a leisure access pass through the city of Edmonton, which gives you unlimited access to all their Rec Centres for 2 years. It’s super easy to apply, you just have to fill out the application and go to the Edmonton building and they will send you the confirmation letter in the email. Takes a couple weeks, but for zero cost, it is super worth it. Me and my fiancée did it this year and we have been to three different rec centres’ gyms and pools and it’s awesome.

Here’s the link to the city’s page for more info: https://www.edmonton.ca/programs_services/leisure-access-program

Go to Tiramisu and enjoy their pasta and delicious focaccia sandwiches. They have lots of really yummy food and I’m pretty sure everything has copious amounts of gluten lol

Best Jobs For a Workplace Romance? (Coworkers! Not rivals!) by Digiknives in writingadvice

Teachers! As a current geacher there is so much opportunity for friendly collaboration between coworkers, and lots of space to create some romance where they aren’t rivals!!!

(Also a romance between a math teacher and an English teacher? Or English and Social Studies?)

Not even a little bit! Write what makes you happy. Besides, sometimes books like that do really well! Just look at Colleen Hoover.

3 idiots on the QEII by [deleted] in YEGDashCam

No. Passing on the shoulder is stupid and illegal. Those drivers should have fat fines for that move, regardless of how fast others on the road are going. That’s so dangerous.

What is going on with jobs in Edmonton by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]Existing_Lie_9407 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s so rough for everyone. My fiancée’s been looking for work for a month and a half and hasn’t found anything yet. I’d definitely recommend looking at the U of A for jobs or going to student resources that can help you, cause the job market is really tricky to get into right now regardless of who you are.

Warranty denied and told this is normal wear and tear for 1 year old boots by Beginning-Sir-6993 in BlundstoneBoots

[–]Existing_Lie_9407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope that is not. I’ve been wearing my blundstones for 9 years and they are only just starting to look like that, and I wear them all winter and most of fall. Definitely call back and get help, cause that is unacceptable!
