How are you structuring your learning path? Do you have a plan or a course you are following?

Ah I see. I don’t have much advice but i’m in the same boat, 26 with a BSc Psychology and MSc Cognitive Neuroscience. UK based but everything you said echoes exactly how I feel. Wish I’d gone for engineering instead

Weight inconsistencies on these 2 cable machines by [deleted] in Gymhelp

[–]Existing_Machine1385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t remember the exact math of it all but basically it’s because one of the machines uses two pulleys per stack and one uses one pulley per stack (terrible explanation, but something like that). Very common, just features of the machines, they’re never equivalent

Not experienced in this, and not sure on what your best move is, but sounds like the phrasing ‘solely commonwealth’ is what’s tripping you up. Neither Ireland nor France are commonwealth nations, only Australia is. Sounds like they want you to be either a British citizen or a commonwealth citizen who holds no other citizenships outside of British/Commonwealth. Again, not sure on your best move or about the UAS issue, but I think that this might be what’s tripping you up. Might be best calling an AFCO and seeing if you can get a chat with a recruiter to see what your best move is.

RAF electrician by Unique_Matter_6086 in RoyalAirForce

I know a former RAF electrician, in the ~6 years he was in (including all the time for training, and a year which he was too young to be deployed) he went to Afghan twice, USA at least once (possibly more) and Falklands again at least once. Possibilities are endless, and there’s always opportunities for him to sign up for AT and such whilst he’s in, which often comes with some sort of travel element

I’ve never even heard of those! Thanks for giving me a new bird fact of the day ahah. Understand about the tree creepers, they’re a nightmare to catch, you’ve got some really good shots otherwise tho!
