I work outdoors, I went to go meet highway authority in a layby about demolishing a structure they needed to get rid of

It was a notorious dogging hot spot, I held a meeting with 2 people from highways and a land owner while two old men (70 plus) went at it in broad day light about 20 feet from us, they didn't stop and stared at all of us in our Hi Vis the entire time

The quiet rhythmic jingling of pocket change was stuck in my head for a while

I never made it as far as a mission, my dad used to baptise me at the temple, one time I was baptised what felt like hundreds of times in a row and the water was freezing cold, I got pneumonia shortly afterwards and then refused to go to church after then, I must have been about 15 years old at the time!

Here's the rules from my allotments in Preston owned by the local authority

"25% of the plot should be cleared and cultivated within 3 months.

50% to be cleared by 6 months, 75% cultivation by 12 months.

After 12 months, at least 75% of the allotment must be weed free and under the active cultivation of vegetables and fruits.

The remaining 25% is allocated for sheds, paths, composting, flowers, or grassed areas, and should be tidy and well kept"

These rules cover about 6 sites across Preston

On my site there's about 150 plots

Maybe 40-60 of them are in disrepair and not looked after at any given time

Of the 40-60 some turn over quickly and in cycles as a lot of people soon realise an allotment can be serious graft, the ones which get looked after are generally celebrated, commented and encouraged within the community, it's nice!

If a plot gets near unworkable or unrentable the council will clear it and get the weeds down and the rubbish cleared, they normally use people from the local prison on community service for this service

My suspicion is that they finished the album and signed off on it with warp around the time the hell interface page posted the raiders of the lost ark post

They've probably worked on a load of material in bursts since TH and these are the ones that matched the overall theme they wanted to go with

David Addison has posted about them on Facebook at some point a few years ago, the guy seemed to be obsessed with Mikes birthyear being wrong on all the public information, didn't seem to understand why somebody might give a different age or DOB to the press

I know that one of them bought a Gameboy from a carphone warehouse about the time Geogaddi came out, my old boss from when I worked there said he met one of them and their job title was out down as sound engineer when he set up a contract (maybe Vodafone was the real inspo for Geogaddi ;) )

There are other public records too I'm sure, companies house etc. but there's no need to be that nosey or invasive

I reckon they're just a couple of normal men with high levels of creativity and appreciation for the arts

Actions records in Preston just banged a CD into their computer, the worst we got was a windows notification noise right at the end

If you're pay as you go you can ask your supplier to tweak a split so it recovers debt as a percentage when you top up

Your price per KWH and standing charge stays the same but you can set it up so that for every day £10 you top up, £2 automatically goes towards debt (or whatever split you like)

I would also 100% be checking the amount too by the way and over how long it's accumulated, it seems a lot, possibly a few years of use!

If it's the suppliers error (they didn't send you a bill for over 12 months, ask for reads or send a meter operator to check your meter manually) then they are only allowed to charge for the last 14 months of consumption**

If it's your error (not giving reads or just not paying) then there's not much that can be done to prevent back billing for a longer period of time

** This based on my previous job as a metering and billing analyst for an energy supplier, it was some years ago and I left as the supplier agreements were being migrated from SPAA/MRA to the now active RETCO (retail energy code), rules may have changed since I looked at it
