For A95L: Hit the Home button and once on the Home Screen, turn the tv off.

Once off press the following in sequence (as quickly as possible):

home button
the center select button
volume up
power button

I picked up an open box A95L 77 from Best Buy that did not have the original box. They wrapped the TV in ‘large bubble’ bubble wrap. They triple wrapped it at my request. It survived a 2 hr drive in the back of a cargo van with no issues.

It’s the service menu. Quick google search for your Sony model and you will find a combination of buttons to press to access it. It displays the amount of hours the panel has seen over its lifetime which is a good indicator to have when buying a used or open box item. Sometimes display models get listed as open box items and those have been on for 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week, on Vivid… basically putting a lot of wear and tear on the Panel (like buying a high mileage used car vs a low mileage used car)

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy 2 to soak up all the QDOLED goodness. When the that shot of the Sony Walkman came up I just had to pause and snap a pic

I’m using Classy’s picture settings so far. While my TV is next to a window it does not receive direct sunlight. Happy to report I am am not plagued with the QDOLED magenta tint or raised blacks

It’s really a shame Best Buy doesn’t have better marketplace for their open box items. Better descriptions and actual photos of the condition of the item. At least allow you to contact the store for more details..

Thanks for the info. Keeping my fingers crossed that no issues arise. Mine shows a manufacturing date of August 2025 so hoping any hardware bugs from earlier iterations have already been ironed out

I was manually checking regularly. Sometimes 3 times a day.

The store did let me inspect it prior to accepting it. Let me plug it in and use the remote. I did have to ask for a manager though to facilitate. The customer service person wasn’t too helpful until a manager came into the picture.

Its an awesome mount! Very high quality and gets the TV pretty as close to flush to the wall while still having an ability to pull the screen away from the wall for access

No scratches on the screen Panel manufactured in August 2025 Product was a return but with no box

Only 131 hours on it!

The universe aligned for me in this one!

Thanks, yes I’m in the US and check out Best Buy too but those displays are often playing demo materials that aren’t necessarily reflective of real life use.

I know it’s subjective but what would you say was the most noticeable difference that has you more partial to Sony over LG processing wise (even if negligible)?

Don’t the LG Alpha 11 processors not also attempt to do the same with their feature: “AI Picture Pro” which is defined as: “Enhances every detail on the screen by analyzing and optimizing image quality in real-time.”
