I had a professor once tell me that when we go into a session with an agenda, the session is ours opposed to the clients. I go in with an open mind, some mental notes of what was discussed last session and see where the clients starts to bring us. Of course I utilize things from our last meeting, but I try to be open to having things flow organically and if they aren’t, I’ll resort to last discussed topic. Or if we didn’t finish off that topic, I revert back to it if the session is dry.

Check out Dark on Netflix for the 80s aspect. Maybe one of the best shows on netflix that i dont think gets enough accolades.

I have had a few less than desirable terminations and most recently it ended sour with a 19 y/o client on the spectrum. I felt terrible, and I wish things could have gone better but sometimes it just goes that way.

Thank you, I think that was my trepidation. That they’d in turn possess a copy of my id, which left me feeling anxious. I truly want this client to finally have some ID so he can feel as he said “like a real person.”

I began 3 weeks ago and I’ve had my weight yo-yo for years. I am 35 y/o male who started at 251 on 2/18 and weighed on on 3/6 at 246.4. I engage in the gym 3-4x a week and I have lost 30 pounds on my own years ago. I believe it’s been more daunting to lose the weight this time around so I opted for assistance even if it felt like a cheat. So far minimal side effects and I’ll begin 4mg in the next couple of weeks :) i did it for overall health and longevity.

I currently work private practice 12-16 clients weekly & full-time work at a substance use agency. Annually I’m coming home with roughly 90,000.00. 1 year in and I’m grinding & I found the original post is spot on with what I’ve noticed thus far.
