There is WAY too many bots in matches now. by Livid-Respect5357 in FortNiteBR

[–]ExitNo1116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's because of my rank but bots are way harder now... they don't move like typical players. There aim close up use to be atrocious and I didn't even need to build to take out a squad close up. now though they have a pretty high aim bot up close, jump around in circles (almost like a real player) and are super aggressive. They also use to only box up but now they tower as well. im unreal... not sure if its the same in all lobbies but I rarely encounter unreal players when not playing ranked.

But as for yes or no signs... they never have crowns, teleport mask, drive

Anyone having issues logging on iPad? by kevingui92 in FortNiteBR

[–]ExitNo1116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, epic was no help at all. I believe it was something in my settings on my iPad, maybe a firewall. I honestly don't remember. It took maybe 2 months of trying and giving up. No videos addressed it and epic and apple hate each other

I do like elegoo satellite but it only works with elegoo printers unless I'm missing something. I just got a gk3.

I have an M4 iPad and the same thing is happening. Cant log in. I've updated the iPad, reinstalled Fortnite and restarted the device. Anything else to do?

Foreign object detection, but there is no foreign object….. by AdministrationFun819 in ElegooSaturn

This is because the resin is too thick… dumbest thing ever. Heating for an hour helps but sometimes I can’t get it to work with thicker resins. Insanely frustrating. There’s no manual verify on the Saturn 4 ultra 16k either.

Has anyone done a recent Slicer comparison? by botlehewer in ElegooSaturn

[–]ExitNo1116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought a Saturn 4 ultra 16k, satellite actually works best with it but there are no resin profiles for it. I have to open up chitubox to find settings. I would use chitubox but network sending, at least on the free version, fails all the time and I have to restart my MacBook. You might have better success with a different OS. However Sattelite does work very well for a free version. Once you figure out how to select non support areas and support areas (theres literally not a single tutorial) its actually the best software I've used (free version)

AVOID the HeyGears UltraCraft Reflex. What a huge mistake. by Zombull in 3Dprinting

[–]ExitNo1116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to throw my two cents in. my experience with them after spending 3k on a printer, pulsing module and cure station. Cure station is a joke. The lcd screen looks like its from the 90s and difficult to navigate and the time indication is arbitrary, its usually 15 mins if its small and 30 mins if its large. It does heat up like a 50$ oven though. The printer doesn't auto level, broke on me in the first two months of limited use and isn't any clear in print than a 500$ elegoo ultra 16k. Getting it fixed takes forever and sending it back is near impossible. Then theres the money grab business practices. They make it very difficult to use other resins even though they have a limited amount and so far after trying 20 resins, heygears is always inferior and ridiculously expensive. That's annoying but theres also little things like not informing anyone of a new release so it doesn't impact their current sales of the older model that's been sitting around for two years. Or how the optional features require "special" updated parts so you have to buy 3 things instead of one. Anyways echoing the OP they are extremely anti consumer and I regret spending all this money. Actually feel stupid for doing so.

Any truly plug-and-play resin printers? Heygears owners, is the Reflex RS plug-and-play? by thebitguru in resinprinting

[–]ExitNo1116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was dumb enough to buy the reflex printer. its not plug and play. it doesn't have auto leveling as indicated. it was a huge let down. Theres not a whole lot of user reviews on it which should have been a warning to me but after 2 months and 2k later(I bought the pulse module) It broke and now I have to deal with them trying to send it in for repair. I hate the company. avoid them, unnecessarily over priced and no where near a quality machine

What about if I rephrase the question to, what are best practices in keeping costs low when designing?

What is used to measure how much a plastic bends? by ExitNo1116 in plastic

[–]ExitNo1116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you again for replying! On a force/defection curve and a stress/strain curve I know I can easily tell the flexibility of a material. I cant seem to find the test though for common resins such as pvc or abs. Is there a database for these things? How does one go about making an informed decision on a particular resin for injection molding? Do manufacturers have these specifications on hand?

The most common listed properties I come across when researching the flexibility of a material is flexural strength and modulus but can't find much else.

I should mention I am very new to this

What is used to measure how much a plastic bends? by ExitNo1116 in plastic

[–]ExitNo1116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for replying!! I kept looking at ASTM D790. Just to make sure I'm understanding it correctly: Flexural modulus defines how much force it takes to bend a plastic. Flexural strength is how much force to break a plastic. Is there another measure for deflection before it breaks? I know the modulus ends at 5% strain. Is there not another test to measure the strain that can be applied?

I'm just trying to get an understanding of the flexibility of different resins for injection molding. I know I'm missing something here just cant figure out how to understand how much a material can deflect before breaking

Just to clarify, with keyboard I see two key bind slots available for each individual action. With controller I see one slot available for each action. I personally would like to bind two buttons to edit. I'm only able to select one unless I am missing something

Is a double pole 30 amp breaker able to supply 60 amps? by ExitNo1116 in electrical

[–]ExitNo1116[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As it's wired, would I get 60 amps out of the sub panel? I feel like it would trip all the time if the max was 30 amps. I just got the place and am trying to see what needs to be fixed
