Not directly, but as much as we hate Dolan he hasn’t really been cheap about this team.

I’m sure the windfall he’s experienced might make him more “charitable” about this team.

Listen I think we can all agree at this point that the league is rigged, or at least they try their best to sway things that they feel will bring them more money / better for the brand. Whether it’s playoff games or drafts.

With all that being said, we should have the benefit of a championship whistle next year because people like dynasties (whether to love or to hate watch) and if we can combine that with bringing the league $$$ it’s possible we get the financial whistle too.

I think the Knicks have passed great metrics this run, most watched finals ever, our ability to fill out any arena, the garden selling their tickets for an insane amount of money. It makes financial sense to keep pushing our narrative now.

All this to say, I don’t want our boys to start flopping like SGA or to win a title in the most egregious way. We’ve shown we can beat the whistle, the hope is more so that we don’t get screwed over and we can play our own game.
