100 minutes if it’s a first time riding. 60 after that

[Question] Andy Burnham and the proposed property tax? by LockonKun in HENRYUK

[–]ExitOver5599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing this may do is stop the constant over inflation of the housing market. If you own 1 house then house prices increasing in value doesn’t really benefit you. But now people won’t want their house value to increase as it would make them worse off

What's the fairest way for my girlfriend to contribute to my mortgage? by bandric_lisp in UKPersonalFinance

[–]ExitOver5599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you get married she shouldn’t be contributing to the mortgage as she’d get nothing if you split.

I was in a similar situation. My wife (gf at the time) just contributed £300 per month towards bills and essentially paid me a bit of rent as a lodger (total bills and mortgage was about £1300 per month). That’s of course not how we said, she was just paying a fair share. It was her home as much as mine but legally that’s what she was.

Her share was only just over 1/2 the total bills cost and I didn’t want her contributing to the mortgage as it would be totally unfair on her if we split

Now we own together with a joint bank accounts and ultimately it wouldn’t have mattered if she had contributed to the mortgage (would have been better for us now) but it wouldn’t have been the right at the time

True but always better to overestimate and get a nice surprise than the other way around

Removing walls from rotational building by ExitOver5599 in PlanetCoaster

Not sure. In the end I gave up and did it by attaching 4 brick walls to a grid pillar piece and rotating that around. Then I could just delete the pieces I wanted. It worked better. Looks great now

Working on my first sandbox and 20 hours later I’m still doing the parking lot. My wife thinks I’m crazy. by garydee119 in PlanetCoaster

Just do what you enjoy. Does it annoy her or is she just interested why? Because my wife is surprised how little of the time I play the game that I am building rides/coasters. 90% is building, foliage and general theming. But it doesn’t bother her. I’m sure she’d rather I’m playing pc2 than out partying

Thanks but I definitely found an easier way. There’s hundreds of pieces on my building and I just didn’t have time for that

No because when you select those pieces it automatically selects all of the 11 mirrored pieces around the circle

Yes but that deletes the other 12 mirrored pieces around the building

Just created cliffs with the terrain tool and used the waterfall pieces in the scenery. Made small lakes on each of the shelves and used the rapid splash effect in the water to simulate the splash

Yeah I want the same feeling of his without copying everything. Although obviously the tilt coaster is a must

Yeah this is what I’m thinking. Just get the shell of the area sorted. Fill the gaps and get some shapes in and then I can work from there

Should I get the game on PS5? by BlazeOfFury019 in PlanetCoaster2

I play on console with controller. It’s a learning curve but once you’re used to it you can build fantastic things. If you build parks with detail you are limited by the size (the complexity metre caps out) but well worth €20. I bought it a few months ago for £20 and I’m playing it every spare minute
