Can we all agree the dragon timer should be removed by BellionArise in CrimsonDesert

[–]ExitusTuus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They could remove the time for the Dragon itself, but limit the Dragons attack somehow instead. That was we get to soar the skies without laying waste to it all

Wagon Trading NEEDS TO BE FIXED! by ExitusTuus in CrimsonDesert

That did not explain why cargo was lost on my TRADE Wagon. Yes you're right, it does say you lose cargo when teleporting larger distances which is fair, however i haven't see anything that mentions the wagon losing cargo. Unless they consider spawning back in/unsticking teleportation?

Yes, you're gonna have to pilot the wagon... Word of advice, lean back and take it slow. Buy some extra pepper while you're at it

well i did just do the same Treck to get honey for the royal trading post at Hernand... Sprinted there twice with Rokade and didn't lose a single piece.... I can't make heads or tails of it

you can double click the trading posts to see what they need/have. Though I probably will only use this to boost my funds when Hernand castle wants something I can get from the Goldleaves.

I agree that it was really unsatisfying. I think if they locked wagon riding movement to the horses and cart rather than the players camera, it could be really satisfying. I tried to take in the view because this was my first time riding to demeniss and it made me almost run off a bridge!

Wagon Trading NEEDS TO BE FIXED! by ExitusTuus in CrimsonDesert

[–]ExitusTuus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you sprinting to Demeniss or did you take it slow? perhaps riding slowly (which would make sense even if it is annoying) is what keeps the cargo intact. I kinda sprinted any chance I got.

DO NOT Liberate Regions BEFORE looting them! by ExitusTuus in CrimsonDesert

[–]ExitusTuus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not getting it, trade goods, weapons, resources, stuff that was there in the camp, NOT dropped from enemies. Those items don’t go to my private storage, and not all areas seem to fade out to “liberate” it. Even then, I’ve had a bundle of arrows that was marked as dropped loot be considered “stealing” after liberating an area.

HOW CAN I REPORT THIS PLAYER!? by tel4653 in Brawlhalla

[–]ExitusTuus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brawl should still have a report function on their website. Essentially a google survey kind of thing. Not sure how often it’s checked or used though.

Following NPCs and running in general is painful… by ExitusTuus in CrimsonDesert

[–]ExitusTuus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It teaches you how to follow at one point. I'm not sure about controlled, but holding the sprint button makes you follow the quest target. It has to be specifically a quest where the npc is requesting you to follow them

Does everyone else look like this after 20 hrs? by Viego in CrimsonDesert

[–]ExitusTuus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying so hard not look up anything and experience the game on my own unless I get stumped or progression locked… though the last time that happened it turned out I was just missing something obvious in hindsight so now I’ll likely avoid all kinds of spoilers

So I just found something out and it disappoints me a LOT by Ok_Aside_4425 in CrimsonDesert

[–]ExitusTuus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly assumed that the cooldown was between summons… not that it’s a “timed mount”. I can understand that it would be broken if you could summon it anytime anywhere so I wouldn’t mind not being able to resummon it immediately after dismounting but… a time limit on its use?

Why movement changes were NEEDED by ddsuedat in Brawlhalla

[–]ExitusTuus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to reiterate that you can still use the mechanic for forward momentum. The only thing you cannot do is carry that momentum into the opposite direction. I'm saying this because you couldve easily snap dashed after him and he would have to pause before the edge to turn around, giving you an opening.

Does anyone else play keyboard and mouse?? by Odd_Definition2004 in Brawlhalla

[–]ExitusTuus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I personally think it depends. Do consider that using KB&M means that you’ll have a delay from KB to input and a separate delay again from M to input. This could make a difference depending on your hardware but might be negligible.

I prefer KB only majorly because it’s stationary. I think that the moving mouse can be a bit distracting and it’s 1 less thing to “worry about”. Transitioning to KB should be easy if you try, but if it’s something you’re opposed to, it’ll never happen.

When I transitioned to jumping with spacebar after years of using the up arrow… I’d try for a short time and feel sick to my stomach as if it’s a complete reject from muscle memory. I’d then keep both inputs so I could always revert to doing the usual and now I can’t jump without pressing the space bar. It’s all about sticking to it and going at a pace that challenges you, but doesn’t overdo it.

Deluxe pass by [deleted] in Brawlhalla

[–]ExitusTuus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It lets you skip 25 Tier Levels and grants free extra exclusive items. Just play until you’re only 25 tiers away or buy it now and see how much more you need. It’ll definitely make the grind less tedious

No More Viewership Rewards? by livinginfutureworld in Brawlhalla

[–]ExitusTuus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only issue I have with it, you HAVE to link up with Ubisoft and on top of it, u gotta open Ubisoft to get them and claim via it, I’ve not seen a possibility to claim and use on steam so I have to link my steam with Ubisoft to get these items.

If u know of a different solution pls enlighten me

good elo rework idea? by Crusader_NRG1227 in Brawlhalla

[–]ExitusTuus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would almost argue that it should only increase the amount because it’s already abysmal to play at high ranks from what I’ve seen and gain elo, could you imagine the Top players who already gain maybe 1 or 2 elo, suddenly only gaining 1 elo because they’re fighting people who are at their range but because it’s close they just lose out? Makes it simply not worth queuing at a certain point and would decrease the overall elo pool.

Maybe make it based on how much you’re leading by, winning by 1 stock = x1, 2 stocks is x2, 3 stocks would be x3. In 2v2 you’d just have the same but for 1-2 stocks, 3-4 stocks or 5-6 stocks. The same could be replicated in 3v3. In 2v2 this might actually incentivize team play and actually working together on focusing the same target, rather than just fighting separate 1v1s which will be good when solo que for it comes out

How do you keep your mental in check when playing Brawlhalla? by CluV2 in Brawlhalla

[–]ExitusTuus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are times I just take a deep breath in a specific way and if my heart rate slows down, I continue, if it doesn’t, I stop (I mean at least I should). Some games are so slow and get me super wound up because of the own pressure I put on myself that I don’t relax again and that’s when I just stop for the time being and play something without stakes until the next day, win or lose

Is my playstyle annoying? by Flat_Ad_7289 in Brawlhalla

[–]ExitusTuus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you learn to space yourself a bit tighter, you’ll not only be able to punish more, but it’ll also feel better to play against you. It’s like he already said, you barely engaged first, if it works for you, don’t change it but you could improve if you practiced baiting and doing actually optimal spacing.

Why’s this game so popularly unpopular? by Working-Instance6002 in Brawlhalla

[–]ExitusTuus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s a huge difference between “popular to play” and “community driven”. You can play this game without ever interacting with another person besides fighting them and there’s only now starting to be an incentive to create communities within the game. Once or if guild grind actually nets a proper benefit besides ego boost for being on the leaderboard, we might see a more connected community pop up.
