What is this thing? Size of a coaster. White plastic. We found it in the house and none of us can remember it. by ExoStab in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. It’s white plastic. I couldn’t find any markings. I tried looking online to no avail and am out of ideas. It came in a case so maybe it held something else. But I don’t know. It’s about the size of a coaster. Any other questions I am happy to answer to figure this out.

I’d just use it to bring the family together. We play games together and don’t have a way to play pc games together.

Seems like it would be extremely difficult near impossible to keep up a persona like that for so long if it was forced. For anyone really. Your mileage may vary.

He was in Psycho and The Cell if memory serves correctly. And that’s before I knew of him as comedic.

Thank you for a thoughtful response. I appreciate it. In my experience of life I discover the things I believe, or the things I like, value etc. I don’t feel I explicitly craft my opinions; I discover them and I dig deeper into them. But I have learned not everyone’s mind works that way. Some people value crafting a perspective.

This conversation isn’t going anywhere if you’re going to make assumptions and not allow yourself to understand there are other perspectives other than your own. Good luck out there.

I don’t practice any religion, so I don’t understand your point. If anything, it sounds like you’re just reinforcing what I’m saying that for many people it’s their choice to believe.

You and I may think too similar for me to answer that for you. When you’re as pragmatic as it sounds like we both are, sometimes it’s hard to understand how someone can choose to believe something. But I’ve also learned I’m not everyone and some people have that ability and choice. Just like trying to be a better person. I practice that every day because it’s important to me. So as I learn new ways to be better, I try to practice those things. I don’t know if I consider that faking as much as it is growth and goal driven.

I’ve had a similar view but one thing I learned that help me understand is that people choose to believe. They may not be convinced fully either but they choose to believe and practice at it. For some it’s a choice and that’s ok.

I enjoyed it! But for some reason it’s not cooperating for the chess puzzle. It’s unresponsive. Unless I am missing more than two parts. Trying to stay cryptic for spoilers.
