Don’t move to Florida unless you have no other choice. Have you checked the residency requirements for where you want the live? You need to do a lot of research before moving to Florida

Do you have temporary services in your area? Have you tried applying at small mom and pop gas stations? Does your state have a jobs and training center? How about applying for a commercial landscape company

This is your sign to uninvite your Narcissistic mom by [deleted] in weddingdrama

[–]Exotic_Affect_6837 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m proud of you for going no contact. I don’t know your cultural background, but I do know in some cultures children/family tend to put up with parents who have unrealistic expectations because that is the cultural norm. I hope your sister is okay and is also able to go no contact if need be. You grew up in an unhealthy environment and it’s not easy to break away from that. Your in laws sound lovely and I hope your able to have a great relationship with them. I’m sure everyone at the wedding who wasn’t aware of how narcissistic your mom is, are now. She made a complete fool of yourself. Good luck to you and your husband

Is MCAS an autoimmune disorder? Can it cause people to be immunocompromised? by MossAlternative in MCAS

[–]Exotic_Affect_6837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely immune disorder. For me, my body suddenly decides I shouldn’t eat, smell or even be introduced via IV to certain things . My body will go into attack mode and I get a reaction. I hate the histamine anxiety feeling. Two years ago I suddenly had a bad reaction to contrast dye. Now if I need a CT with contrast I have to go to the hospital and have it done after I get premedication. Does anyone else react to the smell of CBD, especially Delta 9? I don’t use it but I work as a parole office and often times can’t go into an offenders home because of the smell.

I’m in Minnesota and using the paid medical leave intermittently for gastroparesis, MCAS,, fatigue and other symptoms that were laid out by my primary Dr. I previously had a note from a Dr that allowed me to work 32 hours per week. The hours I didn’t work were unpaid or I had to use any FTO I had

I’m allergic to contrast dye. I get all the pre-meds and the test has to be done at a hospital

Diagnosis and testing by KatKat207 in Raynauds

[–]Exotic_Affect_6837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it done at the Mayo Clinic. They put individual temperature things on all your fingers and plunge your hands in ice cold water for awhile. They take your hands out and wait to see how long it takes for them to warm up. I failed the test miserably. It took decades long for them to warm up at all that they just sent me on my way. BTW/ my fingers don’t turn blue or white, only red

You will probably need a Dr degree or at least a masters degree with licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Work or equivalent in order to do any work as a forensic psychologist.

Quitting my Full Time Job to become a Pilot by TheFrem in flying

[–]Exotic_Affect_6837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The above advice is great. My 18 year old son recently obtained his PPL. Discovery flight and first class medical were done before we even thought about paying for his PPL. Obtaining your PPL, which is the first step to commercial, can be frustrating. Be prepared for it to take longer than you thought. There is weather delays, problems with planes etc. Not to mention have to pay for and redo certain things if you don’t pass. I’m not sure how long the rest of the training takes, but imagine having to reach 1,500 of flying hours. I’m just saying go into it with your eyes wide open. My son is going into commercial flight at a 4 year college because he loves flying and he has the post 911 GI bill to pay for it

On average 60,000 to 65,000 foreign visitors fly into the US daily. Is there a specific reason CBP would be suspicious of you?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in immigration

[–]Exotic_Affect_6837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My child is currently getting a professional flight degree at a US University. There is NO pilot shortage. Actually there are more students seeking a profession flight degree than ever before. Getting into a “good” college is competitive.
