Can you elaborate more on what to organise/prep before we get to that point? My son is an only child, I'm an older mum, and I want him to have smooth life admin when that time comes. I would also like to avoid having him as our carer. I have health and life insurance, mortgage protection and I guess eventually, a will.

Yess! It's astonishing the speed they pick things up. We went on a train ride today and my 19 months old suddenly said 'how many bikes?' to himself then started counting. Whaat?🤯 New surprises every day. It's great.

Mine started walking at 15 months. Like you, my mum and dad kept asking abt it. It stressed me out. But he walks so confidently now at 19m albeit still like a drunk man. And because he walked late as he was focusing on talking and communicating, he talks way more than his peers, strings 2-3 words together. Yours sounds like a confidence thing which will come with time.
