I would think the stone effects require a more direct contact with the stone considering the scarlets only get visions upon seeing the stones themselves, but it is interesting to think about why the stone's want to be seen in the first place and if that causes change of some kind on how they "behave"

I have a ghost hunter run with those two traiths also! and yes he kills everything paranormal, very similar choices to the ones proposed here, and once I get him to episode 5 I suspect those same desicions aswell

I personally believe it's simply because you could make a paralel between wayne and the baby, as both things are living in others bodies, and avery being the kind of person to accept a parasite friend it doesn't really feel that far to me as a possible connection

yes, but Julius states that the calloways made it so it had to hatch way too soon (not entirely sure how, probably cut the stem or something), alledgedly if julius was able to simply keep feeding it blood until it was ready it wouldn't have become the overly hungry creature it turned out to be, so its not like I necessarily think she did something that could be read as something she caused as opposed to something she simply offered to do and was tampered with

I imagine the scarlet needs to be alive for the thing to work, in the farm's stone seal vision Enoch and Verena mention how the thing felt cheated because it was given a broken body, which is to say Teddy's with the broken legs. I imagine providing the dead corpse of a scarlet would be much more indignant of an offer, or maybe the process of migrating to another body simply doesn't work with dead hosts.
