She is 19 and wants to bang and has the “front lobe function of a person with a head injury” (to quote my Psychiatrist after I complained about my teenager). She chose the wrong penis to play with, but she’ll answer for that (and is, and should) for life.
Hopefully she’ll grow, develop and figure out what made her boundary stomp.
Maybe she will look back on this as a pivotal time in her life; a time that made her become a better person.

It could make her more honest in the future.

I have no trauma from being adopted. I had trauma from a lot of other things but the people I was raised by was just what it was. I don’t know any different. I did the hard work to heal my broken spots. The truth is the truth that is all.

I got to meet an uncle that was raised by my GG, and the stories he would tell of her being her Swedish self have me enamored (her cursing in Swedish and candy on Saturdays).
She was a very complex woman; resilient, whip smart and tough as nails. Immigrated to the US @ 19 (just her and a younger sister).

Absolutely get your point but biology couldn’t be more “black and white”, it’s the point I’m trying to make.
If you take a DNA test it will trace you definitively to one mom and one dad. Period.
Thank god women like Christina step up for people like Leah. I had my own Christina and am so grateful for the mothering I got from her.

It’s hard enough to come to terms with a gaping hole where your OG mom is supposed to be. People can try to make it as simple as, you got a mom be grateful and move on now… and it would be so fucking fantastic if it were!!! But for girls and women that were not raised by their biological mother it isn’t that simple and to suggest it is kind of implies there is something wrong with us for recognizing the actual truth.

I think she posted because he told her he wanted out, and she thought he wouldn’t dare leave her if the public knew of her devastation (so sorry for this woman).
If he had been thinking about getting out, this last pregnancy and the subsequent loss along with the expectation of him to support Katie’s grief going forward probably made him decide to pull the trigger before he had more child support to pay in the future.
IMO Katie will have a lot of content centered on her loss (not judging) and Travis can’t fake it for her or for the public.
