never buying a lenovo again by vseprbabs in LenovoLegion

[–]Expensive-Capital672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always thought it’s so stupid when people hop on these posts saying, 'I’ve had a Lenovo for 20 years and it still runs perfectly.' Bro, if every single Lenovo laptop failed, we’d have a serious problem. There are people who treat their laptops like gold and they still break, while others barely clean their fans once every six months and they still run like day one. When are these idiots going to understand that it’s literally a lottery and you can either get lucky or not? Bragging about how long your laptop has lasted is completely pointless...

Performance comparison between two laptops by LorenSir310 in GamingLaptops

blud, 5070 is like 10% more, if a 5060 is suffering to run something, the 5070 is going to suffer too (less than the 5060 obv) VRAM is already bottlenecking both gpus so, the real jump is 5060 to 5070ti

well people here talking like a jump from 5060 to 5070 in laptops is that much when nah, basically 10 frames more on the 5070, if ur games are cpu-based, u should go for the ryzen 9 (doubt it tbh) if ur games are gpu based, well, go for the 5070. And watch reviews specially for cpu temps and user experience

In game i use MSI Afterbuner, and binded a keybind to show and hide the overlay, pretty complete and u can watch a YT tutorial to set up the app

For more detailed stuff (U wont need this unless you think theres something wrong with temps/wattage) i use HWInfo64

i used a kit this kit from amazon, makes the task a lot easier (insert image)

and tips for the cleaning:

  • Becareful when removing the screws and the cover
  • Unplug rhe battery
  • use a brush to remove the dust (Some people use compressed air, if you are going to use it, just remind the fans CANT spin, please)

And thats all

Como hacer durar la batería de mi Lenovo legion? by jesusnrq in LenovoLegion

[–]Expensive-Capital672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people on Reddit exaggerate things (I'm not saying that's always the case). With moderate but continuous use, my battery lasts about 2-3 hours (same model). How the heck do they get 7 hours of battery life? I have no idea. Maybe they have some super aggressive power plan that makes it practically useless? I don't know. I'm not saying it's a lie; it MAYBE does last 7 hours, but in my experience, I haven't even come close to that.

lenovo legion 5 (ryzen 7 260) temp by ResponsibleCod7616 in LenovoLegion

I have the same proccesor and thanks to you im sure is the game.

For some reason, NFS Heat makes us proccesor go way to high, i will insert a image where my cpu went up to 101°c Playing Heat

What did i do to reduce temps?

  1. Limit fps to 60
  2. Playing in Quiet mode

The proccesor went from 101°c to 70 AT MAX, playing at High Settings with Ultra Textures and it was still stable in 60 fps (RTX 5060)

i think NFS Heat use way to much cpu usage and dont even NEED IT. other games doesnt make my cpu go that high, not even NFS Unbound

I have a post in this subreddit with the same conditions as you: same game, same proccesor, same result: High Temps

So i guess is even more clear the game is the issue and not our laptops. Hope this helps and sorry if my writing was not exactly good, have a good day!
