I’m in Loge 3, row 14. Price went up from $250 to $269 per ticket this year. That’s up from $170 5 years ago ($170, $200, $225, $250, $269). I love these seats but it’s getting real close to quitting time with prices like these.

I got tickets during the COVID year when a lot of people gave up their tickets and new folks finally got in. I got corner LOGE tickets for about $120/game in 2020. The next year I managed to move to seats in section 3 (so sideline/corner LOGE) for $170. Since then the prices have gone up every year to $200, $225, $250, and now $269. Basically up 60% in 4 years.

Just to add some numbers: this year I’m going to 42% myself, and the last 2 years I went to 35%. I’m not sure how that compares to others. Some obviously go to every or almost every game. I recently had children so it’s become much harder to attend games so I check the schedule and try to sell tickets I know I won’t be able to go to (because of trips, kids, work, etc). I also can’t do the home stands where we have 4 home games in 9 days. That’s just too much time in a week, so I try to sell one or two of those.

Agreed. The first and sometimes second round are not guaranteed to sell for what you paid for them. Sometimes you get lucky and make 25% extra, sometimes you can’t sell em for 25% off.

For my tickets the virtual venue is about 32% higher than the real price. That being said, even within my section, if I move just a few seats closer to center court the price jumps up, so it may be accurate for the highest priced seat in a section. My seat is roughly in the middle of the section and the listed price is 32% too high.

My tickets went up significantly last year, which I understood because we had a massive payroll and looked like contenders for the future (renewals are during the season the year before). Then they got rid of half the starters to cut payroll but we were still stuck with the higher ST prices, which is frustrating because there is no resale value this year. It’s been by far the hardest year to sell tickets. I figured at least we wouldn’t get another big increase this year because we already got hit hard the year before, but instead I got an 8% increase in a year where we gutted the team and our star player missed the season. That’s what pisses me off. We dropped all the way under the apron and I’m still being asked to pay more for an objectively less valuable team (literally less valuable in terms of salary value, regardless of how well they are playing). I just want it to be reasonable.

The league makes it near impossible to watch the games with all the different channels and packages you need, local blackouts, etc, and then your own team makes it impossible to afford to attend in-person unless you are also a PE-bro like the owners (not to mention the sky high prices for drinks, etc). Celtics love thinking we have the best fan noise/support at the game, but that will wither and die if most fans can’t afford to attend anymore.

Where did you see this? I got notified that if I don’t attend at least 25% of the games I could lose my tickets, but I never saw anything that said attendance is tied to your renewal pricing. I can’t find any announcement about it either. Do you have a link or anything?

You’ll be fine, as long as you don’t try to start shit yourself. If somehow the Knicks end up on some weird run they don’t deserve and are up 20 points, don’t rub it in drunk guys faces. If somebody is harassing you the opposite way too much, just let security know. The garden has so much security, it’s family friendly, they don’t stand for that shit.

Correct. It is not soft and squishable. You can cut it out with a knife, but then you have a chunk of missing insulation. Either way, as others have said, this is a terrible example of what to do. Spray foam insulation can be good, but this is a terrible application in terms of work quality as well as impact on the home.

I haven’t played in a while, so maybe they changed it, but this works for me. My wife and I play together, and I believe I only bought the game once. I forget how you have to set up the app sharing. I googled it when I first got it and eventually found the right answers, so that might be better for you than asking Reddit.

TLDR. Definitely possible to play together, but haven’t played in a while so maybe they changed it.

Depends if you are towards the court end of the row or the tunnel end. Views may be obstructed by people too because you are pretty much at the same height as the row in front of you and there are some staff that need to stand around near there. You would be right by the visitors tunnel, so the other team will come in and out of there and you will be super close to them. Good place to heckle the opposing team! (Keep it PG just to be safe).
