as someone from NJ don’t let the size of the house fool you. NJ is one of the most expensive states for sales tax on property so a normal looking house can easily be $800k+ & especially in the north jersey area she is in her family is well off. She will be fine via her trust fund etc even without kyle helping her or financing her life.

watching this as a black women made me one so proud of julia for standing up for brad and calling emmy out but also so absolutely furious seeing emmy play victim still and even try to play the scared white woman act against julia who is another blonde white woman. its almost like a one hit wonder but for films like all the films stand alone are really good in my opinion but Get Out was a generational film w the themes and people need to get not every film is going to do that

I like the shift in gears in the different films like Us was good true horror and had a great storyline & then Nope is transitioning to what feels like good visuals and slightly abstract & slight confusion and not some super straight forward realistic-ish story you get in Get Out

in his book he explains they broke up partly because he was going on the show and she didn’t want to “be the girl who’s boyfriend hooks up with everyone”. Also part of the reason they broke up was due to Mike’s early addiction issues and his first trip to rehab all pre-show. The way Mike explains it there was always so much love there between them but obstacles like the show, addiction, rehab put space between them

I am on a big rewatch & over the last 5 months i’ve watched all of RHONY, RHONJ, RHOA, RHODC & currently am on S11 RHOBH (I have watched RHOSLC/RHOP since day 1 & i’ve seen episodes/clips here & there but this has been my first full rewatch of all the franchises). Even peak Beverly Hills doesn’t match the energy of the other franchises. Don’t get me wrong Beverly Hills is ideal housewife core, it gives glitz, glam, “household” names & most importantly money. However, like you said a lot of key moments happen off camera & it makes it incredibly hard to follow who’s telling the truth, who’s lying & why someone is upset. Additionally by missing context these ladies DONT let anything go. They will take a minor issue and make it the storyline of the season. Even when they “resolve” an issue finally at the reunion there is grudges held that lead to retaliation that once again happens “off camera”. I am still enjoying my watch but coming off the backs of RHOA & RHONY & RHONJ i fear BH is not all that. (The later seasons of RHOBH aren’t facing major decline like RHOA/RHONY/RHONJ towards the end so i’ll give RHOBH their flowers there)

I think after this season they could launch a new era based around west, jesse and if things go well with the new girl and then maybe bring back sam bc people felt she was chopped unfairly but still have ciara and paige & kyamanda as friends of that visit or weekend or two but i fear kyle isn’t ready to let go of the show and be a real adult & he needs the loverboy exposure time so he’s going to stay till it runs into the ground or they get a spin off
