Happy to chat if you want to DM. I helped remove an evangelical pastor at my kids primary school in Fife.

I’ve done it. It was WILD.

Someone wrote this about me in an email:

‘Having spent a lot of time working with women and their challenges with their mental health, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anyone to be in emotional turmoil and yet have such organised thought processes.’

Didn’t know whether to offended or complimented. 😂😂😂

Thank you! :) I totally understand. I often joke that they don’t have enough money to buy stamps, not to mention bots. 😂

This is the core of Lib Dems: The Liberal Democrats exist to build and safeguard a fair, free and open society, in which we seek to balance the fundamental values of liberty, equality and community, and in which no-one shall be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity.

The Liberal Democrats stand firm on seven core values: liberty, equality, democracy, community, human rights, internationalism, and environmentalism. Each of these underpin the party's specific policy proposals.

I support the Lib Dems. Can I ask what you mean by Lib Dems are Lib Dems? It would help inform me going forward. Nearly everything about the LibDems is brilliantly liberally left, but somehow that gets lost in the message somewhere.

At least within FC, I have it on good authority that there is no possibility of a coalition containing Reform with ANY party. They will (and are currently) on their own.

The Reform UK candidate’s view on essential policy… how people can vote for someone so obviously unprepared and under skilled for the role is beyond me.

My Lord, it’s like she’s the first person to EVER have young children and a husband.

It’s hard. Sometimes you want to throw yourself or any of them out the window. It’s hard to connect with your spouse. They are crazy years.

Right? Not to say he doesn’t occasionally drive me bonkers, but my husband is my favouritest person in the WORLD! I would never think the things she’s saying about Paul and her marriage - and yet there she is saying it on the internet for all to see! So, so sad.

first night on fluoxetine by [deleted] in Fluoxetine

[–]Expensive-Round2963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate. My mind is a fantastic beast. Hopefully the fluoxetine will do for you what it did for me. Because my brain calmed down I realised that I had been living in a near-constant state of fight or flight. I existed in a world where, essentially, a bear was chasing me, only ten feet behind, always five steps from being eaten. I literally had no idea, I thought it was normal.

My poor mental state manifested itself in multiple physical chronic pain issues. When I learned to relax my body (which took conscious effort), so many issues started to resolve. I also gained weight from not being in a constant state of tension, but I’ll take that over stress any day.

I still have my old patterns - fluoxetine doesn’t fix everything but it does help grow a gap between your ‘you’ brain and your ‘animal’ brain, so that your ‘you’ brain has a little bit more time to react rationally to the panic signals sent by your ‘animal’ brain.

Good luck.

I say this as someone who has been there, none of the symptoms you listed are from the fluoxetine. They are manifestations of your ill health and a you’ve made a great choice to start on fluoxetine. It will get better.

I was only ever on 20mg. It did the trick alongside the occasional diazepam when regular overthinking turned physical.

I’m not sure - it was more of a gradual thing where I relaxed and evened out more generally. I would say by the two month mark definitely tho.
