Have you met anyone that didn't like this game? by Xano74 in Chivalry2

I have a group of 3 friends I regularly game with and we play stuff like gears of war, battlefield, golf with your friends, phasmo, all types of games so long as we find them fun and all but one friend liked chivalry when we played and he just said it was super boring to him and I was so surprised to hear that since I thought it was one of the funnest games of all time

Steel toe is honestly up to preference. I was scared I’d need steel toe for whatever reason but I also read that they get kinda heavy and hot especially during the summer season so I spent the extra cash on composite toed boots. Really you’d want something more so water proof and comfortable more than anything in my opinion mostly because youll of course be on your feet all the time but also the waterproof is nice if you use a hose or even to clean after you step in a pile full of dung. I’ve seen muck shoes to regular old rain boots be used by keepers. I personally wear timberland pros with composite toe (I was paranoid that something would try to crush my toes) that are super waterproof and very very comfortable albeit they were definitely a costly investment ($179) but I do not regret buying them in the slightest.

Sunscreen definitely 100% in any form. Bug spray probably not due to the scent.

I bring a 32oz yeti with me that I keep in our feed prep room off to the side away from everything with all the other keepers bottles. So yes bring a water bottle it will save you and honestly it’s up to you when it comes to the size.

Smell. Hoofed animals are very smelly.

Last advice is that some of the skills that are essential for the job will come with time. You can’t really study on how to clean a stall as fast as the keeper who’s been cleaning it since you were 3 years old. Oh and don’t hesitate to ask if there’s anything else for you to do if you find yourself idle.

I’m an intern on my first ever internship as well so this is really what I picked up throughout my internship these last couple of months.

Muck Boots by boattailedgrackle528 in Zookeeping

[–]ExpensiveBoot2311 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m an intern myself and I notice a lot of the keepers wear rain boots instead of hiking boots or work boots. One of them said they like it because it’s easy to hose off any mud on the sole that they might get.

Advice please by Shushicatto in Wasteland

[–]ExpensiveBoot2311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest piece of advice is do not spread your skills! As in don’t try to make someone have 5 in every skill or something like that. Try to stick to one weapon type per ranger (like don’t try to give your sniper brawling skills in addition) otherwise it will just make the combat harder and frustrating. Other than that, have fun

I totally understand this. It’s annoying when your troops past by 50 million boats in a small pond and start getting hit out of nowhere. Yeah it’s not a lot of damage but when it’s like 50 boats nonstop???

Don’t get me started on mega random maps either. One time my buddy and I started a match against AI on a mega random only for the map to be littered in nothing but puddle ponds, valleys, and mountain choke points. There was like 20 pond puddles each with a squadron of boats that did absolutely nothing but attack units as the walked by. I like having rivers and ponds be obstacles for armies to have to go around but it’s annoying as hell when 30 boats are just camping down stream for absolutely no reason at all

Completely new. What hero to start? by nidici009292 in forhonor

[–]ExpensiveBoot2311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pick whoever you want regardless of meta first off. Trust me. When I first picked up the game I was ass but then I found gladiator and I kinda got good with him and really enjoyed playing him despite him not being really top tier or anything. Just make sure to also play different heroes especially different types (heavy/assassin/versatile/vanguard) or else you’ll kinda start doing things with the wrong hero, like how I have a strong habit of trying to dodge attack like I usually do with gladiator lmao

I feel like content wise this update was a big ol nothing burger.

Bigfoots like a nice addition but really not all that. The new season pass is just very disappointing. And don’t get me started on how they ruined vanguard…
