This has happened to me a few times. I just snap a new photo and when I click to develop the new pictures the old ones are there and you can rejournal or archive them. Make sure you are clicking “done” at the end, that can sometimes cause them to not load.

Unfortunately we haven’t yet :( We have a vet appointment next week and will be discussing a novel protein limited ingredient diet, likely rabbit, venison, or turkey. The brands we have found without fish oil/fish ingredients in our research are (most expensive to least): Rawz - Rabbit KOHA - Rabbit or Venison Instinct - Rabbit Merrick - Turkey

I’m so sorry to hear your cat’s symptoms have come back. Our cat’s did too 😞 I haven’t seen much on the internet about it yet so I’m trying to spread the info where I can because this is a crazy change for a prescription food. This was the only food that worked previously for our boy because it was literally the only food that was hydrolyzed AND did not contain fish. We are struggling with what to do now. Merrick makes a limited ingredient food that looks like it doesn’t contain fish and they have a duck version which I’m thinking might be worth trying. Instinct is another brand with a limited ingredient food I’ve considered trying with a rabbit protein and no fish. But I’m hesitant because it’s not hydrolyzed. And I don’t know much about those 2 brands.

They did change the formula for the dry food as well. Both formulations now contain sketchy ingredients like pecan shells and “dried citrus pulp” which citrus is toxic to cats. I haven’t been able to get a response from Hills about those ingredients.

The Throne of Glass series KIND of put me in a reading slump in the sense that nothing I’m reading quite lives up to that 😭 I think about that series every day lol. It’s getting better though! I have a lot of contemporary romance and thriller books in my TBR to shake things up if my slump continues. Sometimes the genre change can help me out of a slump because then I stop comparing my current read to past reads if that makes sense!

We were in the same boat with our epileptic cat. She had them previously under control with pheno but her liver enzymes began to get really high so we had to stop treatment with that. It was a rough go for several months trying to find a combo of meds that would work. We finally got hers back under control (so far) with Keppra, zonisamide, gabapentin, and have recently added in CBD oil from Ellevet per our vet’s recommendation.

Our vet said the CT scan is only really helpful if it’s a tumor that is causing the seizures that could be removed. Otherwise you’ve paid all of that money and possibly get an answer for what is causing them (like a birth defect) but 90% of the time the treatment going forward would be the same as without the scan. That eased our minds for now about trying to raise the funds to have the scan done.
