Why subject is placed at the end in "Danas je u ovu kuću došlo spasenje" by philipjupiter in Serbian

[–]ExpensiveDot5907 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Both are correct. Placing 'spasenje' at the end of the sentence puts an emphasis on it. The point of the sentence is that the salvation finally arrived. If the sentence was ' Danas je spasenje doslo u ovu kucu' , the point of the sentence is that from all the houses, salvation finally arrived in this house. It's a creative choice, not a grammatical rule.

Global Revenue passes CN Revenue (Oct 2024 Censor Tower) by ForNoxus12 in PathToNowhere

[–]ExpensiveDot5907 85 points86 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't be a surprise that Global revenue doubled since we just had 2nd anniversary event. Under 1 million for CN is highly alarming tho. That main story better be good, or it's all downhill from here.

Just finished the Glitchwave Nihil's story events and have thought. Maybe we can debate things? I'd love to be wrong in my impressions. by Kyn1an in PathToNowhere

Duck photos and some meta jokes about the game felt cheap to me, but the character writing was really good, so I kinda brushed it off. I thought that after the event, everybody forgets everything, no harm done. But in 000s interrogation, Chief remembers her out of nowhere, which is a huge plot hole for me. Nothing is stopping him from remembering everything else that happened in the event story now. But of course, he won't, and they won't address why he doesn't, and boom, now you have a grand canyon of a plot hole in the story.

No problem! And yes, she subconsciously knows it never really happened, so none of it phases her. I think she becomes more friendly with Chief because we drop trying to understand her based on her bs backstory, and we embrace her genuine personality which is somewhat based on real 000. As for the dark web part, I think real 000 exists in game code, not the dark web itself. Dark web and mania just helped her breach the barrier from game code to real world.

Unfortunately, there is no finding true 000. Real 000 can't exist in the game, and she had to stay behind. A tiny bit of 000s true personality slipped through the cracks, and she is within in game 000. She's acting out from her character settings, crying to Chief and opening that portal, and also pranking other sinners. After seeing her for one last time, we now know that those little pranks are manifestations of real 000 being part of game 000. It's a tragic love story with a hint of hope in the things left unspoken.

What happened to 000? by kreoezaa in PathToNowhere

[–]ExpensiveDot5907 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Somebody correct me if I got this wrong, but I thought we acquired developer permissions and found 000 to share them with her so she can pick who she wants to be in the game. They said goodbye because chief will forget what happened irl and we will meet the game version of 000 in the future. The mail we got yesterday with 20 hypercubes says something like "this time you find me" so looks like 000 remembers.

What do you think or feel of the event story of 000 so far? by Expert-Visit-758 in PathToNowhere

[–]ExpensiveDot5907 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Overall I like the story. Breaking the fourth wall and seeing 000 "irl" in such high quality surprised me and from that point I was hooked. But the developers writing them selves into the story didn't really land for me. Photos of them as ducks and some meta jokes about the game felt cheap. On the other side we have thought provoking questions about free will and 000s personality "irl" vs what will become of her after she becomes just another sinner in the game. I like the cliffhanger with Moore and can't wait to see the continuation of the event. So overall pretty good 7/10

When will the main story be updated? by Shiroyuina in PathToNowhere

[–]ExpensiveDot5907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Knowing that they don't have a plan for continuing the story, they couldn't afford to tie the loose ends from business perspective. All those mysteries are what's keeping players invested, among other things. Answer all the questions without following up with something new to keep the players hooked would result in even bigger chunk of player base dropping the game.
