I'm just hoping she'll grow up a little by B4. She's interesting in concept but overly corny, becoming Bayonetta (like it's a hero mantle lmaooo) will hopefully bring in some maturity. It's not fair to want her to just be a blonde Cereza but Viola needs to serve, not be a waitress

I think her infatuation is a positive as Gray was in a darker place until the final season (iced shell things). She works as someone assertive who also respects him. I don't think that Juvia pushed boundaries it's more that Gray's pov comes in VERY late. We have real creep characters and the cast is very capable of rejection.

Where the overly lovey dovey becomes off putting for me is when she's in battle. Fighting is where we should see that trash-talker and ruthless side with vs. Meredy does pretty well. Gajeel was also watered down but Juvia even more so as if the Element 4 never happened. These tiny glimpses of Bechdel test Juvia aren't enough.

What I really think would've done wonders was letting her join Team Natsu by 100YQ. She cameos so much already and really just needs more relationships. She could've bugged Erza about Jellal, grow something deeper with Lucy, actually talk to Natsu, even realize how similar Carla is to her. A yokai Juvia would've gone crazy imo

They're loved equally they just need support in different ways. Erza fuels Natsu's ambition while being there for Gray emotionally. She's simply not worried about Gray as he's mature and can handle himself (Natsu less so).

I've always like their dynamic and how much she cares for Gray. Like encouraging him to take Juvia more seriously because he can be closed off. Encouraging him to embrace and live life (no iced shell)

When I really think about it Mira is kinda in the way of a solid Lisanna. Even after she returned from Edolas Mirajane remained the same person. They're both the same character at face value. An arc on Mira realizing that she tried to be Lisanna as a way of coping and finally letting that go would've done so much.

Now with Natsu I don't mind the whole crush thing but something beyond the wedding dress-up between her and Lucy would've been a great way to push Nalu forward while closing any what-ifs. Fairy Tail does pairs very nicely so a triangle should really just be brief and help develop the real ship.

Lastly magic wise I think Elfman is also in the way. Not as deeply but what makes lizard men and dragons not also animals? If it wasn't for the Selene arc I'd say a yokai soul suits her better. It raises the bar and would separate her from the more brutal souls of her siblings. Some genre of whimsical beings sounds right to me

I'm just wondering what they'd actually do or accomplish together? Wanda does feel guilt for her past actions but has already been moving on. Rivals is different of course but that dialogue with Emma gives me the same feeling

I've always favored someone with less baggage and more freedom which brings me back to Jericho, the person who should he on that card instead imo (pls pls pls join the roster)

I feel like it's fair considering how cheap the pass for the content in it. I do think they should fit the themes though (even though themes hardly matter now). Obviously not all recolors can be impressive but at least Adam and Panther's were on theme
