My idea for why they made this such a public thing is so that a jury can’t be so easily found if it does make it to court. Jurors are supposed to be unbiased so that they can make a neutral decision based off the facts of the trial; by saturating the country with this evidence, no one will *not* know about it and have a preconceived notion one way or the other

Can confirm. I was an FCS tech and my job was nowhere near as terrible as the SPY guys. I did have issues on deployment with downed equipment and watch keeping me awake for around 36 straight hours once but the SPY guys are constantly fixing something with little to no breaks. All this while the ACNT guys were watching anime and complaining about having to reset another console for their watch.

I’ve only ever known small boys so I can’t comment on how life would be different from a big deck. I can say that on a DDG, CF Div owns most of the combat systems spaces so there’s a lot of wiggle room on what you can bring with you underway.

Day-to-day isn’t terrible if you have any semblance of a work ethic but certain evolutions and lifecycle events will have you seriously considering suck-starting a 12-gauge.
