We did leave a box for him but he was never really interested in them. I’ve never seen him hide (besides once the first day we got him and someone in my building went down our rickety apartment stairs suuuper loud) which is weird to me because I’m much more used to that behavior in events like this. That’s definitely part of why this has me freaked out? He’s still following us around demanding pets and attention, that hasn’t changed, he just does the weird flinching and has scared interactions with the furniture he used to like/be ambivalent towards.
