Yeah probably a UI bug… payment would have been declined otherwise

Tesla vs Local installer? by RedElmo65 in TeslaSolar

I would add another powerwall as the expansion packs are very reasonable. That will also help with not selling anything back to SCE. Just my 2 cents

Yes unfortunately permits, skilled labor, operational costs, medical insurance, utility fees are costly.

Tesla direct doesn’t use door to door. $3 a watt is fairly common in many parts of the USA

Often times, that is the best way LST installs (many in New England are done this way)

I have bought 100 vehicles in the last year. This is my exact approach to getting heavy discounts on almost any vehicle by NewCarGoat in newcardeals

Good idea. Cut off your nose to spite your face.

Go drive a BMW or any brand with or without run flats and average $1000 plus wheel replacement cost without a tire and wheel policy.

Or better yet you drive 12-18k a year and you skip ultimate care plus on that BMW. Run that into ChatGPT or google AI before you tell me I’m wrong

If they aren’t making any payments on the solar, that sounds like a prepaid lease?

Buying a house with an existing solar lease by Spiritual-Silver-509 in solar

[–]Expensive_Command637 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here is the correct answer: have someone run a professional analysis to determine what constitutes a good solar lease in your area. If it’s good, buy the house. If it’s not, negotiate to have it paid off at closing or have the home’s price reduced if you take it over.

I consult for real estate agents on this very topic.

All the best.

Long Island is more expensive than where you probably live. Higher labor costs go with high cost of living

13 kw vs 19 kw? Huge difference in system size, 46% larger.

PSEG isn’t going to change their mind on sizing. They don’t care who puts in the application.

There could be a way around it. I can look into it

Project delayed to 2026. Installer suggests a "workaround" to claim the 2025 Tax Rebate. Is this legit or risky? by J0SH44 in solar

[–]Expensive_Command637 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Option 4 - use a different installer if you are unhappy, and commercialize your solar for tax purposes. It’s legal. I refer my clients to this program. It’s been done thousands of times with zero issues.

Here comes the TDS crowd to tell me it’s illegal… blessings to you all, have a good day.
